YIKES! WIRED! SINGER 500 PB10-8 MOTOR
In Yikes! Wired!; we do a hands-on session reconnecting the motor and light wires to the power plug.
The motor was removed to clean the gear. That is done.
The Bobbin Winder Assembly has also been removed along with the hand wheel, etc.
This gives us the opportunity to clean inside the upright arm now that it is empty. That is still to be done.
Our resources for this project are the Singer 500/503 Service Manual and another Singer 500 J Sewing Machine. (I have two). This was more than sufficient to ensure the wires were correctly placed.
Now the PB10-8 motor is safely out of the way, the wires have been retracted and the cleaning progress can continue.
Producing videos is a good method to gain more knowledge about the machines.
My aim is to provide a benefit to viewers. Feel free to ask, comment.
