Whenever I see siwan I'm reminded of the soothing, cozy, and comfort vibes he gave me in both run on and summer strike, I get too immersed when I watch such characters and I believe that whomever can pull such characters are already acting masters, that's not all, he can also embody nasty and psycho roles so well. He always triggers my curiousity while acting and I find that very interesting. I'm rooting for you. Thank you for all the masterpieces that you starred in. I don’t watch much of Kdrama. But I was totally blown away by Siwan’s performance in Misaeng. It goes without saying how talented he is as an actor. I also think he has the perfect face for a dramatic actor. He is not overly handsome, even though he is very handsome. I have this idea that being too pretty or too handsome for actors/actresses can be a hindrance for them to portray a believable character, especially a protagonist role. Of courses there’re many exceptions to the rule.

Siwan is so beautiful. There was a point I was watching him talk in this video that I unconsciously stopped hearing him and was just staring at his face. To me, he's one of the best, if not the best actors I've seen who started out as an idol first. His versatility amazes me so much. I have watched almost everything he's been in, and he never ceases to amaze me with his skills. He brings his characters to life in a unique way. I can't wait to see what next he has in store to show his audience. From the moment I laid my eyes in his acting in Misaeng, I knew his potential was limitless. Watch Emergency Declaration! He is even more of a psycho there. Strangers from Hell really shows his acting range though. He gradually descends into paranoia and madness throughout the series because of the circumstances he is in. But my favourite drama from him has to be Misaeng. His character Jang Geu-rae is so endearing and will forever have a place in my heart. ❤

Just a thought to share: Isn't the contrast between his soft and friendly facial features and the superb acting creating something extraordinary and exciting in his villain roles? I first saw him in a nice-guy-role and maybe I have had a different first impression than if I saw, for example, 'Unlocked' first. But I do believe the tension of contrast is one element why he is probably often considered ideal as the villain. Not because he is bad, but because his acting is simply opposing to what you expect from him, based on looks and obviously his personality. That was a super fun and inspiring interview. I’m always amazed at yim si wan, how talented he is and how he’s able to be very skilled in all his works. Idk how he does it. Like his acting alone is on a different level. I would struggle with acting because i would feel too awkward with all the attention on me along with having a short attention span, short term memory and would have a difficult time keeping a straight face or convincingly convey every emotion. Plus, i’m not creative enough to expand in range of emotions and ideas to make the roles i would play in memorable, unique and one of a kind. Yim si wan has done that.

recently watched some of his works and got interested in him cause of his acting happy to know that he's actually a cool guy irl i found it so inspiring how he randomly discovered his talent in acting it makes me want to keep trying new things more because you'll never know what you are good at if you don't try new stuff Good luck Siwan i'm rooting for your new projects❤
