I was stuck on the blacksmith until I found spell bound and mastered thrust attack. Now, I dance with him in epic combat and can win regularly

Also, the blindfold you get from the monks on Thunderclap that makes perfect dodge easier helped

@@randomguyontheinterwebyes that shit is phenomenal! Ever since I got it, do not want to use any other gear but I am sure when I get further into my playthrough. I can see some sick gear being obtainable and then I will have to give up the head piece😂

Rock solid over cloud I assume you mean or what you mean by sword? Regardless I heard rock solid really that good shit but love cloud step too much. Will have to try rock solid in NG+ for sure
