Since u mentioned... some 10 yes back a friend of mine wanted to do an MRI at arthi and wanted to know how much they're duce as the do it for self analysis and I called and told the need and asked their rates. They told the regular rate and when said no Dr is involved, the receptionist said, sir you will go to a Dr to know the condition and after seeing the mri that Dr would call us and we need to send their commission, so we cannot reduce. Well... we didn't go to them.... as we cannot control this mafia or fight against it....

They say so to the patients.....But they don't send any commission..... Even to me they hv told the same reason when I requested them to reduce the amt for one investigation...... Exorbitant rates sometimes for certain investigations and putting the blame on the referring doctor..... That's why I don't give my name to the labs....
