Have you guys noticed that their real life story is kinda similar to their characters in the untamed? Wei ying is targetted and hated by everyone and lan zhan has no choice but to remain silent but eventually the truth comes out and he is no longer hated, the same thing happend to xiao zhan irl and wang yibo couldn't say anything. In the untamed they both are separated (for 16 years) but are finally able to meet again, same thing happened to them irl china banned them to be together for 6 years and the ban will be removed in 2026. I just find it so interesting...

Now, regardless of them being together or not , i think they have built a friendship that brings them peace , and its sad that fans went and ruin that, i have followed Yibo through the years and i think this is the happiest he has been off screen with his film crew, that is if he's not dancing, singing or racing and a whole lot of other things he does, i think xaio zhan really did bring out the best in him and vice versa. Its sad to see them not having those moment they have built anymore, but I'm a great supporter of these two great souls ...i love them so much and i hope they find their peace .

I noticed that whenever Xiao gets jealous, Yibo is very considerate to make him feel better. If they were women, everyone would think they were absolute besties. But because they're 2 men, they're gay? Don't get me wrong. They could very well be. But it's really no one's business. Their job is to entertain ON screen. Once those cameras stop rolling, we have no rights to their business. Regardless of if their close bond was/is platonic or something else, it's really a shame how certain countries/companies kinda force the actors from BL shows to separate after filming and not interact much or close in public after filming. It's not usually AS direct, but after the ao3 scandal that wasn't even Xiao Zhans fault it certainly made things far more strict and worse. I won't say specifics in what nationalities because I don't want to sound like I'm trying to target anyone for the way they operate because I knwo so many wonderful people all these countries. But rules are rules. For example, in South Korea, kpop members and actors aren't just given more liberties but they even promote the flirtatious stuff 'for the fans' regardless if it's simply platonic or more. Many people assumed after filming they hated each other judging by stage presence and such at events that took place after the filming of the untamed. But it's very common for the main actors depicting gay relations to be forced to present themselves as far from that as possible in public even if they are only friends. Not all countries are as open to these things. They are last I checked still friends on Weibo, and I am NOT saying this as a fact, but someone leaked they chilled together at one of the past Lunar New years celebrations or soemthing. But that's just speculation, I'm not here to claim it as a fact. But things are more complicated in the entertainment industry in some places than others, and I know a lot of people are unaware of how certain places handle BL actors interactions and public appearances. But unless you're familiar with those kind of rules so to speak, or you know people who are familiar with this not many people know that. Anyways, maybe Ive helped or maybe I've ruined someones day with the kinda sad information that didn't know (I'm sorry 😭). And remember, some of what I say is speculation and I'm not saying it as fact, so please don't attack me 🙏🏻🥺 With that being said, this is one of the best candid videos I've seen done. It's nice seeing one that's not repetitive or so short. Great job. They're so fun to watch interact together, their chemistry is adorable regardless of what kind of bond they have.

Agree. I did not really understand how that "scandal" blew up. Perhaps too many sensitivities. I just want them to continue to be friends in whatever fashion that means, because their relationship as friends made that series better than if they were just so-so as acquaintances. Looking back, they were relatively new, I guess (TU was one of the first cdramas I had ever watched, and binged it in one night), and that freshness came across as brilliant. And it definitely blew up so ridiculously because the fans of each of the two actors were at war with each other over it and the Chinese government got involved because of the mass amounts that kept reporting it. Just to imagine people that Hutt hurt to cause the government to shut down an entire ao3 website in their country. I have friends that live there and they say a lot of things get restricted. Those friends live in the higher end of life so to speak and said one of the places they go on special occasions claimed they saw both actors and a few of their family members there celebrating a new year's or soemthing together, but I cant claim it as fact. I just know they both still are fond of each other even if they aren't together as much because they are still friends on Weibo and like each others stuff (that is when Wang yibo is online lol). Idk. I just wish things weren't so f*cking dramatic in the world of these actors and idols and they didn't have to walk on eggshells.
