Initially got the 3x3 and loved solving it so much I've now purchased the 4x4. It came in today and wow... you weren't lying, these are really great. Can't beat them for the price!

Got the 4x4 and its quite good. Still going to use my Aosu WRM as a main, but this 4x4 is easily a solid backup and a good travel puzzle, especially at its price. Honestly, like it more than the original MGC 4x4. Kind of wish they had made a 6x6 as well; still have yet to find a solid 6x6 that I like (though have an x-men v2 in the mail atm).

100% as the size doesn't matter. You could use a 10mm or 100mm cube. Many people use these ones at comps.

Hey Shawn, which would you recommend more between the Meilong M 4x4 and the YJ Zhisu without taking size into consideration? I would be fine with either size but I would like to know if there is any difference between them performance wise, like if one of them locks up more or if one of them turns smoother than the other.
@SpeedCubeReview3 жыл бұрын
No major cube catches much. That's more caused by the cuber. The MeiLong is a boy lighter feeling and the matte plastic is a bit slick. The YJ feels very compact and the glossy plastic is a bit gripper. My times are equal on both.
@rizumi45873 жыл бұрын
@@SpeedCubeReviewThanks 🙂 If that's the case then I'll get the YJ Zhisu for the glossy plastic and compact size which might make executing CFOP algorithms easier.

i just got the 4x4 today and its insanely slow and unstable in the inner layers. whats going on?
@SpeedCubeReview Жыл бұрын
I can't imagine it being that slow. If it is your first 4x4 it will feel very different and could feel much slower than a 3x3. If the inner layers feel unstable try tightening the tensions a bit.

Would you recommend the mini 3x3 cube for OH? I ask mainly cause they're not available in the UK yet it will cost me a bit to ship. Also I have kinda medium sized hands (especially for my height yikes). also I'm a roux solver so it would have to be stable due to heavy table abuse.
