I think there was just a massive drop off when Normy and chicko stopped playing NRL. They were what attracted the audience I feel. That’s when I felt it all changed. All the best on the next journey

Yeah mate that’s what I’m saying. The brand was only attractive to a lot of people because the boys were playing NRL and they were top tier players. Once they stopped I feel the brand fell off then too.

Yeah agree. Footy is so big here so people want to see current players unfortunately time moves on and so do we. All current players have a great oppritunity if they want to pursue that path.

Yeah I think London based brands are dominating right now much like New york has the past decade with Kith & ALD and chicago FOG + Heron Yeezy. I love the UVU model of they dont have new product all time they just keep running whats work for them. But the circle logo has a similarity too.

Funny you mention the gambling and alcohol sponsorships. It's the most annoying part of listening to rugby league podcasts, just having that rammed down your throat, especially gambling. I know they need to make money through sponsorships but they should find better ways.

Yeah bro. It just such great money to be fair I can understand why they take those deals. It is hard money to walk away from adding an extra 15k-25K a month to the pay packet doesnt hurt. Heaps of money in the online gambling space too. But each to their own.
