I love how he said "Subway" instead of "Submarine" but everyone thought he said the right thing and they got a point haha

Hahaha! Rzeczywiście! Dopiero po Twoim komentarzu przewinąłem i rzeczywiście powiedział "subway". :D

this was awesome!! and poor Bårdek, he didn't have any idea of the word 'milk' so he preferred to dance instead 😂😂 thanks for the subs!! 😊

+Nadeshka Holmes Could he have answered in Polish if he'd wanted to? Bård looked SO irritated, lol.
@nadeshkaholmes95118 жыл бұрын
Andrea Bee i'm not pretty sure if he was allowed to answer in polish, i guess no. And i understand Bård completely xD
@andreasigmund44778 жыл бұрын
+Andrea Bee since the words were written both in english and polish, my guess is that he could, he just didn't think of milk (after "beer" and "water")...
@Quirentia8 жыл бұрын
+Nadeshka Holmes You're welcome! Bårdek probably didn't think of milk since Bård didn't showed any painful cries after drinking the milk. If he had done that, then he would've known it was milk. And Magnus...keeps offering Bård milk all the time, first breast milk in the fun in the dark-challenge and now mime milk.

I don't speak Polish, unfortunately, so Bårdek's guesses are missing at the moment. If I should just guess I think he is saying "wine" in Polish and then tries to say "bottle" in English and then says "butelka" in Polish, which I think means "bottle" (since it's similar to a word in Swedish "butelj"), but since this is just me guessing, and he could be saying something completely different, so I didn't want to put that in the subs. But hopefully some of you could help me out here?
+lafnna Thanks a lot! :) And yay! I got one guess right at least! I put your name in the description, "Translation by Quirentia and lafnna", since you helped me out with the translation, but if you don't want it there, I'll remove it, of course.

"Know Your Pole" - those boys are so wicked with their little sexual innuendos... :)
@Erc1128 жыл бұрын
+Lynn Knott It's just the (correct) translation by quirentia/laffna. The original sentence has no innuendo at all.
@sweetsyerra8 жыл бұрын
+Erc888 I'm sorry, but unless you are speaking directly as one of the guys, how do you know? I'm sure the translation is completely correct in translation.
@Erc1128 жыл бұрын
Lynn Knott The original title for the segment is "Kjenn din Polakk." And "Polakk" in norwegian just means a Polish person, it doesn't have multiple meanings like "Pole."
@sweetsyerra8 жыл бұрын
+Erc888 It's not a big deal, but these guys do speak English, so they could be thinking in another direction.
@icv16888 жыл бұрын
+Lynn Knott they're definitely thinking not in another direction... like, they won't take the english translation into consideration, and the title is only funny in english.

I'm from Poland. Funny show. :P Ja jestem z Polski, wydaje mi się że ten program jest dwuznaczny i Ylvis wraz z całą Norwegią naśmiewają się z polaków, ale wszystko w dobrym wydźwięku. U nas w kraju śmiejemy się z cyganów. :)
@margplsr31208 жыл бұрын
+Sunleo Studio nigdzie nie naśmiewali się z Polaków. Sami robili identyczne żarty a nawet dużo bardziej posunięte dot. ich samych oraz ludzi w swoim kraju

+Magda Draganova Magnus says that about all his mini shows in the end, "Know Your Pole", "The King of King of Pop", "Mr Kolbasti", "So you think you are Kjell-Elvis". It's sort of the running joke, that it begins very entusiasticly with "for the very first time on Norwegian TV, a new game show hosted by Magnus Devold!", but always ends with a message that it's been taken off the air.
