incredible how brother Nouman ties the stories together and pays attention to the details of every word in every aya. Thank you for a rich tafseer of some of prophet Musa's story.

Good advice for improving our life: To thank the Almighty more often, pronouncing "alhamdulilLah", while enumerating in our thoughts all the good that we have (faith, health, knowledge, food, etc.). And asking forgiveness, pronouncing "astaghfirulLah", remembering our sins and mistakes

A Wonderful teaching Masterfully presented and given by this humble brother. I just wanted to make a small correction concerning the Prophetic meeting of the Beloved Prophet of God a t[l22:24] ,who was Moses[PBUH] and between the God of the Hebrews who is "𝐘𝐚𝐇𝐮𝐖𝐚𝐇" [Allah] and the type of snake or serpent that the STAFF of our Beloved Prophet Moses[PBUH] became, for It was indeed a COBRA and not a Python. We know this due to the fact that this was the exact the kind of Serpent that was seen present by our People in the very forehead and in the midst of the Crown Cobra hood of Pharaoh[Firahn] of Egypt[ Al Kemit]. It was always a symbol that was highly respected and therefore placed and depicted inside the Crowned Cobra Hood of Pharaoh right along beside the 𝐕𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞. The 𝐕𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 in the Crown of Pharaoh,which was a bird of prey, represented the Power over 𝐋𝐈𝐅𝐄 due to the fact that it was seen by the Ancient Egyptians and observed to be a consumer and a devourer of 𝐃𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐇 whenever it began eating 𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐝 things,but seemed to be immune to 𝐃𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐇 and to even swallow up 𝐃𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐇 itself! The 𝐂𝐨𝐛𝐫𝐚 however, was seen by Ancient Egyptians as a serpent which caused 𝐃𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐇 when it struck at a victim with its fangs,the 𝐂𝐨𝐛𝐫𝐚 serpent, therefore represented 𝐃𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐇 and the Power to cause 𝐃𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐇 ! When Pharaoh,the King of Egypt[Al kemit] was seen in His courts, then He would be feared like a God and perceived by all of His subjects in His Kingdom as a God and One who had POWER over 𝐋𝐈𝐅𝐄 and 𝐃𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐇! This is the reason why King Tuts crown drape on His mask looks like a Cobras Hood! This then represented the Power of Pharaoh as a God who could point at you and strike you to 𝐃𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐇 or Raise you up back to 𝐋𝐈𝐅𝐄! This is why when the Prophet Musa[PBUH] appeared in the courts of Pharaoh's Royal palace,He turned His staff into a 𝐂𝐨𝐛𝐫𝐚 Serpent it showed that Moses[PBUH] wielded Power to cause 𝐃𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐇 and when His staff which became a Serpent 𝐂𝐨𝐛𝐫𝐚 began to eat or consume the Cobra Serpent staffs of Pharaoh's Magicians and Alchemist, the miraculous act was both seen and perceived by Pharaoh's Court Magicians and Alchemist as that of miraculous Power and that Moses[PBUH] 𝐂𝐨𝐛𝐫𝐚 SERPENT was now looked upon as One having Power of 𝐋𝐈𝐅𝐄 by consuming and eating up their Serpents of 𝐃𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐇!.....That's all...Shalom
@epicurus19885 жыл бұрын
Walaykum Salam, my Hebrew brother, you have rightly pointed out it was not a Python neither the Qur'an says it was a Python. Translators universally have used snake/serpent for the Qur'anic text. Brother Nouman in his eagerness to explain has used Python to give the idea of a huge snake. Also because in later part of the story it devours the snakes of the Pharoah's magicians. The fact of the matter is Qur'an does not deal with details that the bottom line is whatever serpent it was, it did the job it was supposed to do.

@KampoengBatja8 жыл бұрын
+Francis Godinho good question, I try to help you to understand the best I can though I am not a scholar. The translation is like this: "This is the Book about which there is no doubt, a guidance for those conscious of Allah" "Kitab" also refers to "Law" just like when you say "by the book" it doesn't have to be a real book, but there is "a manual" to be followed by the user. English also say, "the judge throw the book" do you know what it means?
