He really takes pride in what he does, and actually tries to do his best at everything he does. I love that! Most of the time I've had my nails done I've had to come home and file and shape my nails. They will be all different sizes and shapes. Most of the time where I've been they just wanna hurry and get them done, not worrying about their work.... I'd love for him to do my nails! Even if just once!

Heather Mullins same thing here!!! Especially over the top of my nails, they were never smooth!!

I hear you. I've been so spoiled by KZbinrs--professional or not--who can produce a perfect-looking nail. Then I pay $65 to get mine done ... they slap some gel over some tips ... no apex ... and I'm like, "What the h***! I can do THAT myself." Makes me so mad.
@heathermullins36206 жыл бұрын
I paid $65 for mine last time and it was SUPPOSE TO BE pink and white ombre, they were terrible. And dude tried to use a white tip and I told him NO I wanted white powder and pink powder, he says "oh you want gel, I have to charge extra" I said again, pink and white POWDER, acrylic. He says "that's gel" NO ITS NOT. he used acrylic! And they were done quick and.... just a terrible job. I actually could have done better myself. And I told him what length I wanted, they was WAY shorter than I wanted. He actually said to me "you don't need them that long" and cut them.... the entire thing was just horrible, I wont go back, I'll do them myself. If i mess up it's on me and I'm not out that much money...... and he still ended up using a clear tip, I wanted forms with acrylic and he glued on tips and I got tired of arguing and trying to explain.

Heather Mullins Ugh. So many non-professional "professionals".
@heathermullins36206 жыл бұрын
Shaynutt yep it can get expensive for sure. I started out with the cheaper stuff, it's not as good but to start out with and practice it served its purpose. I'm still not "good" at it but getting better. And better than I've had some so called professionals do..... I cant find any young nail stuff without having a license. I'm scared to buy it off ebay, worried it wont be the real stuff. I've just been getting my stuff at Sally's and some online. I'm ordering the opi absolute kit. I've heard it's pretty good and the price wasnt bad at all.

Goal to achieve at least one of my nails to look like this... cause i looked at all 10 of my nails and cracked up. Mind you this is the 2nd time I've ever done my nails. I did realize I e-filed a little too much on my polygel and got a white spot. This training is amazing. I did do my first refill pretty good on 3 nails..i had lifting on my first time too much slip. Thank you again.

Maybe perfectly square shaped nails are hard to do because humans don't have perfectly square shaped fingers?😉
@tunnasch6 жыл бұрын
I think you nailed that one. We have gimpy fingers with nailbeds going whatever the heck direction they want to. Even if I come straight out from my sidewalls, I have a nail shooting off just enough to the left or right it makes me CRAY-CRAY. LOL. Ah, just wait until we have arthritis, ladies; let the adventure begin. :/
