The protein bond was sticky but my last 2 bottles I ordered were not sticky. It’s more drying now with no tack.
@youngnailsinc Жыл бұрын
As you use the Protein Bond, the product in the bottle can thicken over time as it is exposed to air when it's open. When you open a new bottle, it may seem thinner or less sticky, but it will still feel tacky when dry, just not as thick.

Hi! I had a question... could I use acrylic powder instead of dip powder for dip nails?
@youngnailsinc Жыл бұрын
We don't recommend it as acrylic powder isn't as fine as dip powder so it tends to look splotchy.

So basically we aren’t allowing the liquid/powder combo to set up properly before releasing it on the nail?
@youngnailsinc Жыл бұрын
If you let the product set too much, it won't have the best adhesion to the nail and you may experience lifting. We recommend applying the product to the natural nail when it is still in a wetter consistency so it bonds better to the nail. In addition, if you hold the product too long before applying it, you may not have enough time to let it flow and create the proper structure.

My dilemma is that I have extended hyponychium. I wanna learn to sculp my own nails but I find it very difficult
@brittnaycollins558 Жыл бұрын
I have the same issue, what I do is I cut the form to customize it to fit my hyponychium area , I just cut the form with a cuticle nipper or very small scissors that you may use for like your eyebrows and it honestly does work and it gets a really tight fit underneath the nail so the extension base is flawless
@marielanders4806 Жыл бұрын
@@brittnaycollins558I've seen this method work very well for this issue.
@youngnailsinc Жыл бұрын
For an extended hyponychium, you would need to cut and customize the form to fit around that skin. Here's a great video to show you how. kzbin.info/www/bejne/naGZkmCnaMllfqM

Hi is protein bond and yn acrylic HEMA free?
@youngnailsinc9 ай бұрын
Our acrylic is, but protein bond does contain hema. It is a low concentration that generally does not lead to allergic reactions though. If you need an SDS/MSDS for these products, please email Shane@youngnails.com
