I have went to nail school and completed my nail tech diploma, but from time to time when I feel Like I need a refresher course I can always count on young nails. A lot of my skills now were and are acquired by watching their educational nail videos. Their teaching is awesome and easy to follow and understand. Is your brush prepped with anything before application? Should it be completely dry? I see many videos where it looks wet. Thanks for the thorough tutorial. Lots of great communication needed for learning.

We do not prep our gel brushes with anything. We do like to keep gel in the brush so it helps keep its shape.

No, we don't have anything we dip the brush into before picking up gel.

We teach this as a speed technique. Once you are proficient with using an e-file, it is faster in our opinion to apply enough product to make sure the strength and structure is there and then file into shape. That way you don't have to go back and forth with possibly needing more product after filing.
