I know right? Mark Boals was and still is a beast, love his work with Iron Mask too, his voice displays so much fury and intensity, without discarding any kind of technique. I talked to Jeff Scott Soto. He was pissed that Yngwie wrote that song about Marcel. I could also see that it being the case for Norum.

Yngwie is/was kinda friends with Norum so I doubt it. They even had photoshoots together in the Swedish music mag OKEJ back in the '80s, hardly any animosity. Norum also came more from the Michael Schenker and Gary Moore schools whereas Yngwie came from Blackmore and Uli Jon Roth.
