Yngwie J malmsteen "The Young Viking Chief" from sweden , appeared on the scene in 1983 and rescued the guitar world from itself. He has pioneered a frenzied "NEOCLASSICAL" style all his own which cannot be ignored.

The original singer on these was better but Turner rocks. Man, that last note on the studio version where the singer goes "Liaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar!" It's chill bump land.

I know right? Mark Boals was and still is a beast, love his work with Iron Mask too, his voice displays so much fury and intensity, without discarding any kind of technique. Extremely underrated out of all the singers I know, definitely top 10 in my opinion Also, love your channel, you rock brother!! Yep I'm responding to an 11 year old comment

@@goncalobaia1574 Yes Boals was great on Alchemy too. It is such bullshit they took down Cesario Filho's Full album covers of Yng . I would love to get the Bootlegs of CF playing now the vids have been taken down

Classy of Yngwie not to show any of Jens' keyboard solo. No wonder his band left after this tour.

I don't know what took the filming crew but it has to be hands down the worst live show pro shot I've ever seen, so much so it's hillarious. Incredible version though, even accounting for the overdubs.

this song is about guitarist john norum ripping off yngwie's style and calling it his own.
@alexrios21123 жыл бұрын
That's a good one, but it's about Marcel Jacob.
@uutooyu3 жыл бұрын
@@alexrios2112 marcel jacob is a bassist number one smh and number two its john norum trust me
@uutooyu3 жыл бұрын
and i might add he played in rising force bassist role and had spin off bands yes but not anything to do with the song liar . yngwie showed norum how to arpeggiate and he basically cloned his style calling it his own
@alexrios21123 жыл бұрын
I talked to Jeff Scott Soto. He was pissed that Yngwie wrote that song about Marcel. I could also see that it being the case for Norum.
@JackieNihil11 ай бұрын
Yngwie is/was kinda friends with Norum so I doubt it. They even had photoshoots together in the Swedish music mag OKEJ back in the '80s, hardly any animosity. Norum also came more from the Michael Schenker and Gary Moore schools whereas Yngwie came from Blackmore and Uli Jon Roth.
