Huge fan of Yngwie mainly back in the 80s, 90s and the man is a complete Guitar legend. I have to say though that these days he's rather sloppy and seems kinda bored by his own songs - understandable I guess coz he's not young now. Still a legend though.

EXACTLY!!! He also ruins every song they play by "improvising" this horrible repetitive, generic slop over anything and everything, has NO bass/rhythm guitar/bass piano to back up his guitar playing anymore, which only further adds to the awful sound of his shows these days (shrill, way too much treble) and hasn't written something actually new in about 30 YEARS!!! I don't think he really has any creativity left, especially looking at his "improvisations." The whole thing is sad, because he is maybe my favourite guitarists ever, but I was born to late to see him in his prime...

@@goldagent77 Yeh sadly your expansion on my thoughts are true. I saw him live in Melbourne in the mid 90's I guess but the sound at the venue was pox. It was a treat to see him after being a fan for 10 years, but live these days, sheesh! Still my hat is off to this remarkable game-changing pioneer. Most of the time it's just better for legends to preserve their mystique by gracefully stepping back and allowing their history to speak for them.

@goldagent77 FYI, Yngwie just released a new album in 2021.
@goldagent773 ай бұрын
@littlelamb6804 Yes, he did. And there was not one original or creative thing in it. Just more or less a worse version of his earlier albums. The mixing on it is also quite awful.
