I met them while hugging the wall at a Sun Ra Arkestra show they played after in 2016, they were both super humble and kind. I asked if they were gonna play together and Ira hesitated and then winked and said “don’t worry you’ll see”. Later they had a few Arkestra memebers join them for an hour long drone swell kind of set that was pretty cool. It was so bizarre because they were just random audience members diggin the show next to me when It dawned on me and I was like “oh fuck, that couple in front of me are my heroes.”

sometimes i look this video and i feel like this very guitar solo is the condensation of all those years and years of noise experimentation... wish i could have the chance to hear Ira play on a gig ... This solo gets me every single time.

that's how the ylt do though, buddy, they like the effects. this is easily one of the most amazing bands I've seen live in all my days. the albums never seem to do them justice after you see them in person. raw passion and emotive power, they are hard workers. I'll show up whenever they do :)
