Nobody shreds quite like Ira; he's such a unique talent. So rich with ideas in his solos. Keeps me glued intensely to what he's doing. I'm about the same age as you Ira and I hope we grow old together so I can keep listening to you (and of course Georgia & James) well into my twilight years. Peace & Love!

Melody coming out of a field of dissonance, beauty out of noise, calmness out of fury: no one can do this like YLT, and lift us out of this (screwed up) time in the process. -(Geez, I never caught the echo of Eight Miles High until listening this time. A slow learner. But Ira took it up to the Van Ellen Belt after that...dang, those chords starting at about 4:40 and 7:40. This one belongs in the all-time pop canon. Pure brilliance.) -Thank you, Ira, Georgia and James.

I miss them so much, I do not enjoy their solo projects as much as what they did as a band. Pavement almost gone too but Malkmus did amazing records solo and with the Jicks.
