Ten years later it's stunning and beautiful. Privilege to watch Lil' Buck and Yo Yo Ma performed together.

Omg!!! As a major lover of swans, that dance was exceptional, especially the end . Is there any artist EVER with a broader base of expressive art than Yo- Yo Ma ? I think his vision is something akin to being at one with the Universe . Is his forward - thinking ability to unite people and to heal with his music and spiritual beauty really of this Earth ? I wonder how he hides his wings? ❤

That is exactly what I thought too. I would imagine Mr Ma admired MJ. I wish he had worked with him. Cab you imagine ? ! I think MJ especially would have gained much from Yo- Yo in a holistic sense.

It's 1.1.2018 and I'm watching the Roberto Bolle's tv special broadcast on italian RAI1 about his dance. Guest (among the others) appears this guy, Lil Buck - never seen him before, totally unknown to me. Ok, it seems interesting, a top star classical dancer together with a modern dancer... I start searching somethings about him on my i-pad on YT, and I find this clip in Beijing: press play, clip start, and - WTF - at the same instant Lil Buck on tv perform identical ballet! What an estranging moment! For few seconds I've had 2 Lil Buck that danced perfectly syncronized. I didn't know what and who to look, mindblowing (and... What a Dancer!)

Amazing playing by Yo yo ma. The combination of classical music and dance is suprising, but well-exectuted by Lil' Buck. Overall, a great performance.

I watched it over and over again now and each time I even loved it more than the time before! Amazing dancer combined with fabulous music!Fantastic modern interpretation of a swan! I would like to see also a free classical ballet interpretation from another dancer.Maybe synchron? This interpretation is very angular.I would also like to see an opposite version.

I was just wondering .. Has 'Lil' Buck' ever broke or even twisted an ankle ?? How he shifts his weight from side to side, distributing it so as to maintain nearly perfect balance .. is quite a feat and, an amazing thing to watch. I saw Charles Riley, aka Lil' Buck performing LIVE, on the sidewalk in Times Square NYC, and he simply dazzled the huge crowd that had gathered in what seemed like hardly no time at all. 'Break Dancing' was really BIG back in the day in New York City and there were many performers around trying our their 'moves' .. but, none were as talented as Lil' Buck !! ~~

I bet the people in the audience were not expecting to see this kind of performance. They likely paid big bucks to hear and see Yo Yo Ma. I wonder what the audience felt or thought after seeing this young man dancing to Yo Yo Ma's 'The Swan.'

Please forgive my ignorance but I wonder how on earth he is so graceful in sneakers? Is it possible that he has them greased in something on the bottom to slide? I'm astonished at the beauty of this performance. So talented. I feel honored to have witnessed this...
@kencooper23583 жыл бұрын
You should check his roots and where he learned dancing, then you will understand why he makes it look so easy and graceful to dance in sneakers. He is probably the so called GOAT of jookin (a dance originally from Memphis, Tennessee)
