No it should be called “planning my runaway from Jackson”
@triggerdog185 жыл бұрын
Even if it takes longer to film this was much more enjoyable to watch with multiple angles. It was easier to see what you were actually doing, and how the trail actually looks not just go-pro effect. It also didn't get bogged down as much with multiple takes of the same feature; even though that is cool it's nice to move the action forward to different features.
@bradrhodes32315 жыл бұрын
Agreed. Except you cut the fixed cam short a few times and I missed some of Jacksons lines.

Thanks for going the extra mile by explaining the lines and features so much, but also for showing them in retrospective so we can realize how tall and steep they actually are. Brilliant series and so interesting/ fun to watch!
@robertmills62415 жыл бұрын
Best video you have put out so far! I really like the use of multiple cameras to give us more than just a POV shot, it helps keep things a bit more interesting and shows how steep and tech these trails really are. Thanks for the content Yoann!

Great job on the videos ! They're good and you are a great fun host ! Totally keep going with both cameras, having the still camera at the bottom is good to see how you deal with the obstacles from the outside and also helps us get a decent idea of the gnarliness of the obstacles ! Beau travail, continues comme ça !

I know the dual camera thing is a PITA, but what a great perspective to see you coming down the gnar. Love it. Keep the awesome videos coming. Thanks for sharing how you tackle these insane features. Hopefully I'll make the trip from Nashville it to Whistler one day. Only been riding MTBs since Oct 2018, so still have lots to learn.

I am really impressed how you can hold on to your lines. For me it is totally enough to only see your lines. As I already have seen in the comments the people and me included like the different angles. If stopping and climbing back up to get the GoPro interrupts your flow, maybe ask someone to follow you. I would if I could 🤘🏽

The two camera set up is cool, but I don't think it's essential for every video mate. You explain the sections in great detail and we see enough of the section while you talk us through it. It's nice to have the 2nd camera now and then, but not I don't think it's needed every video. Maybe fix a go pro to Jacksons collar for one ride, so we can get a trail dogs view of it all! Loving your videos so far! You've been one of my favourite riders for a while now, but I've only just come across your KZbin. I've subscribed, and can't wait to watch more! Good luck for the rest of the season dude, I'll be rooting for ya!

I love the format of this series! Nice to see you break the trail down into the individual sections and different line choices. The 2 camera views look really nice, but yeah it must be a pain to go back and pick up the second camera. Whatever you do, keep it up man!
@hughbrown96195 жыл бұрын
Great progression from your last video Yoann! As far as the third person shots goes, I can definetly see how it is annoying, lotta hiking and ruins flow. But, they do give a unique perspective that I really like. I would say the best middle ground would be to set up a third camera just for a couple of the biggest, most important features of the trail. I found it hilarious you casing that line haha. Good battle. Keep up the good work!

Super, merci Yoann !

Awesome video! Just a little advice, I rode with my lab a bunch when he was young. He has terrible arthritis now and has had two knee surgeries. Dogs are not meant to run those distances, at those speeds, especially on terrain like that. Just trying to save you some money. I’m about 10,000 In vet bills. Any vet will tell you the same thing. Jackson loves it now but will pay later. Cheers.

Great series. The second camera is super useful, even though it's a pain to retrieve. If you want to just enjoy the ride, leave the cameras at home. If you want to make kick ass instructional videos, take the time and bring the pro gear. You are not on a ride, you are at work and just about everyone watching these videos would like to have your job.

Hey yoann, at like 5 mins in you asked what we think of your extra camera and told us that it kinda affected your riding. Personally I really enjoyed the format of your very first video. An extra camera only adds an extra angel. You already had the quality. Imo, drop the extra camera and show 2-3 line for each spot instead of just 1 line and an extra camera
