Woah! Those scenes were really good! I saw Laura right at a GH fan event, and she praised guiding light saying that she had the best teachers on guiding light including Kim Zimmer. I wish I was watching guiding like that then, but I wasn’t sadly. I did like Jonathan and Tammy when I started watching, and was very sad when she passed away. I wish the ratings still kept up so guiding light wouldn’t have been canceled in 2009. Would have been interesting to see what they were going to do with the characters now. I also wish that Netflix, Hulu, or any of those platforms could allow us access to those soaps that have gotten canceled so that we could relive some of these memories or for people who haven’t seen the soap if interested could watch the classics. 😠😖

I wish they had not recasted Cassie. I would rather have her paired with Edmund (the new changed Edmund) and have Cassie killed off in a murder mystery storyline leaving Edmund vengeful and devastated (since Cassie has suffered enough in her life losing her husbands, she deserved to be called home; Cassie was a good lady, so God called on her to heaven), or better yet have Cassie paired up with Sean McCullough (if Holly ran into Sean, or if Cassie ran into Sean in San Cristobel), or have Rob Layne come back and Tammy can show her resentment at Rob and later they can make up again and be a family after Rob is changed and reformed and clean and they can make up for lost time

It’s unfortunate that GL became the Reva show. I wished they had just spun the character and her entire family off into their own series and never mentioned them again on GL.

@@msrain1235 Sure- it's hard to see an actor go from one show/character to another. I can see that. I just love the way she portrays her characters' emotions. To me she brings a humorous element sometimes.

@@saraflint2982 , I think that it's because they ruined Dinah,for her, she and Reva hogged the screen , and the writers played favorites way too much with her character. I'm surprised that they didn't make Marcus turn, on Dinah, and have him be Cassie's best friend.

I thought Guilding Light was a decent show. It felt like a realistic soap opera. Young and the Restless is ok. Bold and the Beautiful is now trash that the original Ridge and Stephanie are gone.

It was more realistic than other soaps … it’s why I always watched it over the others. Y&R was to slow for me although I have rewatched some of the older episodes and appreciate it more :) Days was flat out nuts and hated soaps that were to over the top.

When Reva found Dylan, that was believable. However, I hated this Jonathan-Sandy storyline. I also hated how they gave Reva a post menopause pregnancy.

I stopped watching Guiding Light way before this storyline but I was aware that Jonathon was Revas son and Tammys cousin. My question is first who ws Jonathons father and if Jonathon and Tammy were cousins then how did they end up with a baby and married?? Isnt that taboo??

Jonathan is the product of Reva's marriage to Prince Richard Winslow during her amnesiac years. Yes, it is taboo and yes, they got married, however Tammy is not Sarah's mother, that would be Lizzie Spaulding.
