That's a nice grill right there. I've cooked on one a few times before. If I didn't go recteq I would have jumped on these.

Yeah if I had the space it was my first choice. It’s a really really solid machine!

@@UFOBBQ they also have the 480 for tighter space
@UFOBBQ6 ай бұрын
Yeah I know, I don’t feel the 480 was worth it for the price go big or pay less and do something else imo

@Trumpetmaster77, interesting you went Recteq. I'm leaning Flagship 1100, but my research brought me here to see what "top of the line" looks like. If I lived around snow, this is a clear winner, but for cost & quality, Recteq is looking like a nice middle ground.

@ can’t go wrong with recteq! For the price, one hell of a cooker bud!

Watched this at work so I may have just missed it, but how is cleaning out the fire pot? Assuming there is a door on the bottom to drop the ash out. But great review. When my Pit Boss finally dies I will have to look into Yoder! Thanks

Under the foil in the video to the left is a metal plate. You can pull that plate out for direct seating or to clean out the burn pot

Keeping my eye out on market place, kicking my self for not grabbing a nice one for 750...
@UFOBBQАй бұрын
That would be a steal for 750. Definitely recommend it if you find a good priced one

@UFOBBQ there's a couple on there for 1k with no cart right now. I'm patient...

What you think of this compared to your grilla? Wanting to upgrade to a Yoder but people say won’t necessarily get more smoke taste. Thanks!!
@UFOBBQ6 ай бұрын
My grilla puts out a ton of smoke. I really like the food it puts out. That said I think running most pellet smokers at a low temp ~ around 180 for a few hours at the beginning of the cook is the key to actually having smoke flavor

@@UFOBBQ I have the YS640s as well. My family doesn't like too much smoke flavor, so its great for that. If I want extra smoke though, I've used a smoke tube. I find that works better (and saves some time) over running at a lower temp, since that will add to cook time. Great video, this is the first I've seen on your channel, it popped up on my homescreen.

Thanks for the input! Yeah I find that they all will really only put out smoke on the lowest temps. Welcome to the channel!
