In this Sixth Episode of Yogānubhava, Yogācārya Sri Durgadas Sawant ji, who is a Senior Yoga therapist and Naturopathy expert from Yogavidyaniketan, Mumbai shares his experience and learning from his life time experience with Shri Vinay Siddaiah, Founder of Yogavijnana.
About Sri Durgadas Sawant ji
Sri Durgadas Sawant has done M. Sc. in Physiology from Goa Medical College. Diplomas in Yoga Therapy, Naturopathy from Yogavidyaniketan (YVN), Mumbai and M. A. in Yogashastra - KKSU, Ramtek.
He has total of 35 years Experience of teaching Yoga to masses. He is the Vice Chairman of YVN and Vice-Chairman of IYA Maharashtra State. He is the member of Syllabus & Accreditation Committee (SAAC), IYA. He was part of C-20 (Civil-20 under G-20 that recently concluded. He is also the member of Member of Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) under AYUSH Ministry.
He has published many articles in various leading Yoga periodicals. Written book on Natural Diet named “Nisargahar” and published in 4 languages - Marathi, English, Hindi & Gujarati.
Experience of getting cured own Falcifarum Malaria, Flu, Covid-19 etc without medicine, exclusively with Nature Cure. He has personally tried and experienced 21 days long fasting only on water. He also developed Yoga course during own leg fracture.
He was felicitated by Health Ministry of Maharashtra Govt. on 3rd IDY for More than 25 years of Yoga preaching. He is the recipient of Life time achievement Award of YVN, and Yoga Bhushan Award from Vishwayoga Kendra, Sangli.
