Great videos George ! Thank you for sharing your journey with us. I am 43 and been diagnosed as being cough impulse positive although when I got an ultrasound done recently it should showed a bilateral inguinal hernia in very early stages but only when I cough. They also tell me it's more pronounced on the left side. And so... since the time I came across your videos I've been watching the diet, walking 3-4km daily, running in the gym as I don't have a park every 3 days for about 2km as well as cycling, ellipticals followed by yoga half-boat pose, hip bridges, raised leg and torso, and one or two other stretches. I've also begun doing your exercises every morning. My questions are- 1) Could you please do a video on the exact yoga exercises you do and if you say you go 'all out' in the gym what exactly do you mean? Which workouts exactly? Maybe a separate gym video would be a good idea too. 2) My inguinal hernia is visible on the uktrasound only when I cough though I do 'feel' a little sensitivity on the left side of my groin... it's almost non-existent (unless I really strain with a weight) so, would the Comfort truss really help someone like me? I purchased a cheap hernia bellt from Amazon and it's kinda so-so. I'm not sure it applies enough pressure as I use it when I go to the gym only. I've reduced my workouts to seated exercises as per instructions. Tks & Cheers!

I don't do any specific yoga exercises. I normally just go to the yoga by adriene youtube channel and find one that looks good to me. My gym workouts consist mostly of Muay Thai and Caveman workouts. The caveman workout is kind of like CrossFit, but done in a much more controlled manner. Flipping tires, swinging sledge hammers, slamming medicine balls, etc. When I say I go "all out", it means that I decided that I would no longer hold back because of my hernia. If I had to hold back, I would just go get surgery. The holding back from doing things is what was affecting my mental state in a negative way, so I decided that I would not hold back anymore. Obviously if I do something that doesn't feel right I would stop before I blow my intestines out, but that doesn't ever happen. I'm not advising everyone to this, but this is what I did and it works for me. I really don't know if the Comfort-Truss would work for you since everyone's situation is so different. It works perfectly for me and many other people, but it's not a perfect solution for everyone. It might be worth a try though. I don't want to mislead you and promise that it would definitely work for you.

@@MyNaturalHerniaCure Thanks for getting back. I know you have an fb group but I'm not really using fb anymore bec I find it just clutters up my phone and I'm just off it in general. I guess I'll manage with the belt i procured for now. Questions: 1) Is there any other way to reach out, follow up and share info? I have a few yoga exercises that I've come across and consulted with an yoga expert in/from India. 2) When you say you "stopped holding back" are those the two years you ref to where you were living with it golf ball size? Your gym routine sounds really intense and I'm wondering how you manage not to strain it! Flipping tyres, slamming medicine balls, wielding axes etc also takes effort and puts a lot of stress on the groin and abs so, you obviously began doing all that once the hernia started to reduce? 3) I'm also curious if you got ultrasounds done periodically to check on progress & if you've done like ess vitamin and mineral serum profiles? Cheers!

V12F1Demon sorry for the delayed response. This is actually the best way to reach out. When I stopped holding back, the hernia was still the size of two golf balls. The mental shift of being afraid and holding back to saying F it and going all out is what made a huge difference and allowed me to start making progress with the hernia. The workouts are intense. The only way I was able to do it without having a blowout was because I came up with the design of the comfort-truss which worked perfectly for me. I have never had any ultrasounds done, although now looking back I wish I would have.

Watching your videos and using your exercises to strengthen the area. I am so used to lifting normally that i don't consider the flat position (so many exercises are bad for that area)

Do you wear the comfort truss while doing the exercises you suggest?
@MyNaturalHerniaCure4 жыл бұрын
John S I would not wear the truss while doing the hernia exercises while laying on my back, but any other exercises where I’m standing up I would wear it.

First, thanks for the motivation and details for exercises. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to get your belt to work for me. Wonder if it is that my hernia is pretty big. The pad portion does not seem to be able to contain the hernia, no matter how tight I pull the strap. Tried the thicker pads too. Any suggestions from anyone appreciated.
@MyNaturalHerniaCure4 жыл бұрын
wjade sorry to hear it’s not working for you. the truss is definitely a minimalist design, so if the hernia is big it’s going to have a hard time keeping it in. We’re coming out with a heavy duty version that will be called the Comfort-Truss HD that would probably work better for you, but it’s not going to be available for another couple months.

Hi, I just want to know how long did you cure your hernia? I got mine...I just notice it last sunday. Then the doctor told me I need a surgery. But as much as possible I don’t want a surgery.

I worked at it for a few years with no results at all, but once I got things figured out, I started seeing results really fast. It's been about a year and I'm about 98% of the way there.

How big was your hernia? Was it an inguinal? Did you have hydrocele as well?

Yes, it was an inguinal hernia. No hydrocele. It was about the size of two golf balls.

Only when I'm doing something strenuous like surfing, Muay Thai, running, motocross etc. as a precaution. I feel confident enough now to do some things without it, like yard work, working on my dirt bike or a car etc.

Hey George. Thanks for the motivation. I have a question. Now when you're a fully cured, can you say that the muscles around the inguinal canal have now grown back together, like they were before the hernia injury? Is it the same as on the healthy side?
@MyNaturalHerniaCure5 жыл бұрын
Andrew Colburn I am still not 100% healed, but I do believe that once the intestinal contents is not able to push into the canal any longer, then the “hole” will tighten up as well. But even if it doesn’t, as long as I can live my life without it popping out, that’s all I care about.

@@MyNaturalHerniaCure What I'm asking is that if you palpate both sides while standing with your abdominal muscles completely relieved, do you feel that gap on the weaker side or is it as tight as on the healthy side?

You have to put the large strip around your hips, with the smooth side inside, positioning the triangle with the little poket over your hernia, and then you have to pass the smaller strip between the legs, and insert it into the buttonhole. In this way the belt will be stabilized
