My first attempt at telling stories to camera. I think it needs some work but it is what it is for today. Hope you enjoy - please leave comments below.

Hi Kevin, British person living in New Jersey here. Im currently going through teacher training and am extremely interested in learning more about the mythology that informs the poses. This video is fantastic. It renders the practice so much more meaningful.

Hey Fiona. That’s awesome!! I’m a big fan of a good story. The joy of the myth that works through sanata dharma is that it’s so colourful and rich in meaning and interpretation. I have a few more of these in the pipeline. If there’s anything else I can do to help please contact me

I love this and I've used the same story within a few of my classes... Are there any specific books/texts that you use to find these myths?
@DiaryofaChubbyYogi Жыл бұрын
Hey Matthew. I cant recommend one specific book. The best source is from someone who was taught the stories as a child. The Mahabharata is sprinkled with some incredible moments, the Ramanyana is literally epic. There are some wonderful modern authors too. I’ll put together a reading list and do a video! Thanks for the inspiration.

Amazing story, brilliant explanation! What book do you read at the end of the video?

Hey there - it’s not actually from a published book - those are my notes. The copy was written by @kentratgirl for a warrior workshop that we do. Her writing is beautiful.
