Mami I made this for Sri jayanti and it was awesome...very very quick and easy...specially toddlers and babies enjoyed it so much. Every year I feel young babies cannot eat other bakshanams...but this was too good. All mother's were also very happy.

Mami, can we make this with caramelised sugar, instead of jaggery. I made this payasam today with cooled jaggery solution, as you have shown, still the milk split when i added the jaggery solution. Still Taste was superb , so to avoid this, can we use caramelized sugar instead?
