I had gone to the Lake Shrine for a long time and it was where I started on the Path, so it felt like my home. After several years I felt that I had to move. I was sad and feeling bereft but I knew "I was going to be moving" but I did not know where. I thought it meant my physical house where I lived by the beach. But no. It came to me I was to start going to Hollywood Temple. Now, I did not like Hollywood because of the noise and the traffic so I was a bit unhappy but I went. It was not long after that I realized what a blessing this was for me. I needed to be around Bro. Bhaktinanda and I got to counsel with him several times. I still remember many things he told me. I benefited greatly. Little did I know he was to pass soon but I got to be there for the last 2-3 years of his life. I loved Brother, so humble and yet, I felt like I could always perceive a little smile that always seemed to play at the corner of his mouth, like he was so joyfully happy and was trying to contain it. I am so grateful that I got this experience. Thank you SRF for bringing all these wonderful talks to us so that we can keep revisiting these talks by the direct disciples of Master and hearing directly from their lips of their experiences and stories.
