Good morning and welcome to my channel. I'm going to take you through this simple 10 minute morning yoga sequence to ease you into your day. This is a gentle yoga practice suitable for all levels, great for beginners and no props are needed.
All of the poses will be done seated to make it accessible for all. You could even do these poses on your bed if you'd like before beginning your day! I'll take you through poses like seated twist and side bend, seated pigeon pose and butterfly fold. Doing a little bit of yoga in the morning is a wonderful way to get some energy and to wake up slowly. This is an opportunity to connect with our breath and begin the day with mindful movement and intention.

My daughter has introduced me to you and your channel. I’m 65 and have noticed my balance is not what it used to be. I am so thankful I can work with you daily to get my balance back and hopefully tone up in the process! Your voice is so calm and your instructions are spot on making it easy to understand what you want and to understand the correct form You’re just what I needed and just what the doctor ordered (my daughter is a cardiologist 😊). I have chronic pelvic pain. My physiotherapist asked me to add 10min yoga after my regular training, and showed me one of your vids as example. I'm not healed, but I swear it hurts a bit less, and people with chronic pain knows how much that means for your everyday. From the bottom of my heart, thank you ❤

My name is Jerri and I absolutely love this video in particular because I have multiple neurological problems that cause me not able to move around with ease anymore..for the fact that you make these videos not only with no props, but also make them easy for someone even with the disabilities that I have is literally the most amazing thing I have ever seen!! Kassandra, my intention today is tranquility. I'm 3 and a half weeks post sacroiliac fusion surgery. I was able to return to my daily yoga practice last week. And it is because if YOU and your wonderful yoga classes. I've been a regular practitioner since I found you 3 years ago and I credit my excellent recovery to you and your yoga classes. I will never be able to thank you enough. I just hope you know what an amazing impact you have had on my life. Thank you so so much❤

I felt so sleepy & got up so difficult so I've chosen this shot relaxed practice & it just was right for today. I'm happy that even when I can't feel like I can do the 30 min. practice I still can do at least a little bit just to stay in tune!! thank you. Have a great day & week everyone.

About 5 months ago, I hurt my back and have been going through phases of rest and recovery, activity and stillness. My yoga routine has been limited & it’s been probably over a month since I attempted a youtube yoga session- this class was EXACTLY what I needed. Will be returning to it - and looking for more like it!❤

I’ve been using this video everyday for months and it truly makes a difference in my life. I’m stiff and tense a lot of the time but my muscles always noticeably looser and better feeling after doing this, it’s made a huge change in my life as someone who was previously unused to doing yoga. I have been doing this same yoga exercise for about a week straight now, well almost a week and I LOVE IT! Kassandra is awesome and her voice is so calm. Only 10 minutes and it makes such a huge difference in my day, especially as a dance teacher!

I like how your yoga is very easy to follow. Especially for beginners or don’t have flow. Your instructions are very clear I could probably have my eyes shut the entire time. It’s like you also know when our hips won’t be aligned or if our shoulders are not relaxed or pulled back 😅 and you would remind us

Having lost our dog in September, we took a short break 2 weeks ago to recharge, since returning home anxiety kicked in, (I have suffered with anxiety on and off for several years, not on medication, though I have booked to see a Doctor), a couple of days ago, I began following your Morning/Evening practice, which appears to be a gentle way to get myself back into Yoga, so thank you Kassandra xx

As I was waking up and feeling a cold starting to come, I decided to go for gentle yoga instead of going for a work out at the gym. Stumbled upon this video. A gentle beginner session like thinks is exactly right for intermediate or advanced yogis that need a gentle break, like me ;) I loved all of it, I love your calming voice and clear instructions. I’ve been having a hard time trying to find a good time to add yoga back into my routine but I’ve really been enjoying doing yoga after my weight training sessions after the gym and let me tell you, it’s been a game changer for my body and mental health. It lets me not only stretch out all those muscles I just worked out but also let’s transcend into a quiet peaceful state after raging to some Hardcore music lol.

Kassandra, I am a harpist, which is a very physically challenging instrument to play, and I struggle with neck and shoulder tension and pain. Your yoga classes are so helpful for me, I just want to thank you for sharing! You make it easy to follow and understand, and I appreciate the bits of info on what is happening and why we are doing things, like how side bends are energizing vs some others are calming and quieting.

I have been following you for quite a while, and I have been doing a lot of your yoga routines on your KZbin and I needed to comment this morning. I have been noticing such a huge difference in my body since I’ve been making sure to incorporate yoga almost daily, no matter how long or short I make it. I do work out regularly and I’m seeing that I do get very sore and stiff usually but yoga lessens it as well as decreasing blood pressure. Thank you for making these accessible to everyone to add to their lifestyle❤

This is so perfect 😭 I have tried yoga before and never kept up with it. I’m chronically ill so the fully seated routine is so wonderful, I have enough strength to do the entire thing! And I can fit it into my morning before my toddlers wake up! So wonderful thank you 🥹❤

I've always been very hesitant to try youtube yoga instructors but I finally took a chance with you about a month ago and I've never felt better! I don't do yoga very often but I found that you've helped me find the motivation to get active again and try your videos at least once a week! I'm slowly getting back to exercise and using your videos makes me feel a lot better even on the days when I don't have a ton of energy! Today was one of those days but I figured 10 minutes is better than nothing. Thank you for making this accessible for everyone and making it feel approachable!
