If power is in state of corruption and not right action/service to the people in accordance with principles of humanity then detachment is good. Gandhi Ji’s example comes to mind where he lead the biggest movement without holding any “on paper power” Agree a 💯 that power can be good and should be an element of every human life. Today public feels powerless because most of us have chosen to do nothing besides voting and see the cycle of corruption repeat. I think there should be movements in different areas of public service to buildup a fair and just socio-economic and international relations state. Paani Foundation is one great example of public awareness and participation, of public taking responsibility to build a better future instead of accepting what power greedy politicians throw at them.
