Holy crap. You gotta love The Dropper levels. They are so unique and frackin' awesome! Very creative, I must say. And the new height limits and additions in recent versions make it so much more versatile. The only thing this video lacked was the raw amount of Simon screaming as he fell. :P A la Level 1.

the lights are a trick. They put the block in a minecart and set it so it's several blocks above the minecart or below it. Then they just put it on a slanted rail and that's how it done.

no they're lamps inside minecarts but slightly above so they go through which is why they disappear at the top of the screen

They should make like a portal like graphics of this map. You're a lab rat and the company that got you kidnapped wants you to test out their new device, the gyroglider (that's the one responsible for making you move across the map when you're falling). Then the diamonds will make a comeback and you have this glove device thingy that interacts with a holographic enhancer that enhances your shoes giving you increased jumps and also adds a bit of shock padding so you won't take any damage.

Actually Minecraft is probably amazingly coded. Minecraft does not have set save points or loading screens, so it does not load that fast and You don't know how mojang coded the game. All java is definable (terms) except for: Main, Var, Double, Method. And their is more ways to "word" things such and statements. Plus the MEMORY on said computer is probably not up to the task of running minecraft. Gmod, Half-life and other Valve games are coded so they don't kill you computer's PROCESSOR.

They actually are using the damage detector mod. If you look at the top left corner when Simon is looked at Lewis or the other way around you will see a health bar. That is the damage detector mod.

Actually, It does mean "number". Hash Tags (separate words) didn't come until later (Twitter etc) Hash(symbol) Tag(attached mentioning). Just Saiyan, there was a time before the internet y'know :)

An alternative to fraps is bandicam. HD recording same as fraps but uses less memory resources (RAM) so it shouldn't affect your minecraft rendering

The speed boost give higher FoV (which I THINK makes sense because in space at least if you went either a little under or as fast as light you can see almost 360 degrees around you) =)

@yogscast use bandicam and set it to record your screen overall rather than the target window. this doesn't work on anything in full screen but minecraft usually isn't you can record with no change to FPS on minecraft

I like it that way though because you used to just make a crafting table,furnace and bed and get food and look for coal, iron and diamonds. Now theres redstone, emeralds etc. Though I liked Beta anyway. :)
