it's kinda weird how the last episode of the Yo-kai Watch 2019 reboot foreshadowed the Yo-kai Watch Jam: Yo-kai Academy Y series with the unexpected but vague appearance of the UFOs following the destruction of the Yo-kai World. (it was clearly the most deepest cliffhanger in animation history)

I really wish that Shadowside Arks activated the Shadowside sounds, and the Onechanside arks activated the new music... I love Shadowside, but "Yokai Watch!" just isn't really doing it for me. So I want to keep the Shadowside sounds, but if I wanted to buy the new Arks, I would have to update it...

I dunno shadowside is really bad it was badly executed most of the yokai are lazily designed and the sound isn't at all as iconic

@@NaiefThegoony So... What exactly is your point? That I shouldn't like Shadowside because of your opinions? Didya think that just saying "Shadowside is really bad" would just suddenly make me say, "Oh, you're right, Shadowside sucks and I should love the new series!" I don't care to argue with you because it's doubtful that we could changed each other's minds. But for my personal opinion, I find Shadowside an interesting take on the Yokai Watch formula that takes more inspiration from the darker side of Youkai mythology. While I can agree that it wasn't perfectly executed, the same goes for the new series and the old series. I find the way they designed contrasting Light and Shadowsides to be really cool and I enjoyed just about every Yokai. You're free to think what you want, I just find it strange that you felt the need to say this when all I was said was that I prefer Shadowside over the new show and wish I could keep those sounds on my Elder.

The version K sounds are really annoying but I can’t reasonably purchase two Elder watches, so I guess I will just have to deal with it.

Honestly, after watching Shadowside, the Yo-Kai Watch! music just sounds too goofy for the Yo-kai Watch Elder. Also, I think they should’ve given Keita’s version something to differ aesthetically from Natsume’s version.

Hello Is it what shadowside medals are compatible with the Elda K watch?

All the older shadowside arc can be read with the elda k version, you just wont get the light/shadow standby sounds before you scan, you'll get the version k ones (b^.^)b

Yeah idk either, i havnt had the money to get the elda or ogre yet. Now they have yet another watch,its hard to catch up

I think it depends on whether you really want to have the Shadowside standby sounds or not. If not, you can get either, fully update it and it will read any of the Arc that are out now or in the future, just with the Version K noises. (b^.^)b

The Version K is the original Elder updated to Version 3. Version 3 changes the original Shadowside standby sounds to the ones in this video, but let's it read more Arc. Buying the original Shadowside Elder and updating it to Version 3 is the same as buying a Version K Elder. (b^.^)b
