Fascinating insight indeed. I (Dutch) have interesting discussions with my daughter (Japanese) on translation topics in literature specifically Japanese versus English and recognize issues she mentions.

The Bridegroom Was a Dog is good one . its the only book that translated in Myanmar so I hope more of her books translated in Myanmar.
