Just got then for my R as well. Had thr Pilot Sport All Season 4, and they were great, but the sidewall strength felt spongey on the highway switching lanes. These won't last nearly as long, but scooped them from Discount Tire for about $800 out the door for 265/35/18

Thanks for your review on these, not a lot of them out there. Glad to hear they’re solid in the rain. Doesn’t rain a whole lot where I’m at but was still concerned about getting caught out with a bad wet summer tire.

Thanks for your review man I just bought these set of tires for my23 x3M today… My Yokohama tires that came on my x3 did very well for the mileage that’s currently there from the time I got it build from the factory back in October 22. I wanted the Michelin, but the cost was expensive but like you said the Michelin stays out of stock. I was going to get the Continental extremcontact pro plus or whatever but they did not have rear tires in stock , so I went with the set of Yokohama brand again. I just ordered them and wanted to see a review on them.
@WhatsyourForte3 ай бұрын
For the price you cannot beat them. Even better if you can get a rebate deal. Glad I could help.

Great review! You hit on some great points in this video that not enough people consider with car parts/performance upgrads: 1) Not every driver needs top of the line performance tires. I see lots of high performance cars owned by ultra low performance drivers her in the US. A good quality tire that handles wet and dry and is forgiving at the limit is where it's at. 2) Michelin is price gouging customers currently on their top tier max summer models. 17" tire sizes now cost what 18s and 19 did just 2 years ago. 3) At $100 extra per tire, is the Michelin PS4S really $400 better than a set of these Yokos?... 👀 🤢 4) I've been pro Michelin and Bridgestone for decades, but the Yoko Apex V601 is essentially identical in construction and tread pattern to the Michelin Pilot Sport (the originator from 2010-2020!) We just ordered a set of the V601s today for a customer's GTO project that will be putting down 480-500hp all motor. We just needed a balanced, sticky tire in a squared fitment that would give 3-season performance here in TX. The 25k mileage warranty will be a nice insurance policy. Thanks again for the good tire content on this one. 🍺❤✌

Good review. Just a couple things. It’s a mile warranty not kilometer (k) warranty. Also, curious why you only went with a 10mm staggered setup? 285 square or 295 square would give you “double” the mile warranty. Otherwise I’d think you’d want to go with a greater front rear stagger?
@WhatsyourForte2 жыл бұрын
I though I said miles… but yeah. The stock setup is staggered so I wanted to keep it that way. Also helps to have more meat in the back because the car was RWD.
