KUDOS to Yokohama for even making a summer street/300+ tread wear tire in the size I need (215/40-17) and making it available here in the states (most do NOT here in the USA; looking at YOU Michelin for not allowing us to have the Pilot Sport 5 in that, or currently ANY other sizes, same goes for Toyo with their new TR1 😡). But, I feared that the Flevas would be a bit too 'pedestrian' for my tastes for a 5 month of the year, pure summer tire, so I went with their AD09 instead (and yes, I know, I will have to slow down in standing water MUCH more than with the V701s, and replace them at a 3:1 ratio, if not more often than that!). I already own wheel setups with UHP all seasons and pure winter tires for the rest of the year, so no need to compromise on the summer gumball. 😉

I have 205/40-17s on my 2016 Ford Fiesta ST. They are awesome tires. I live in the Tampa Bay area of Florida and they do an excellent job of resisting aquaplaning.

Have had them on 2 cars. They are awesome, but they hate to be cold and take a bit to get heat in them. Great video. 👍
