Just mounted a set of 245/40R17 AD08R's to my S2000. Tracking the car at Laguna Seca in 2 days. Can't wait!

yes when its drift setup orientated -- camber angles-kaster angles, toe in-out etc...

Like Ted Wang said, the GT86 is in full D1GP drifting spec where as the S2000 has a track / grip dedicated setup. The cars setup will make or break a lap time, just imagine if the GT86 was changed over to a full time attack grip setup!!!

You're correct sir, the power mark is around 300HP.

I now understand why the difference is so little. thanks for the explanation Maiham :)

Dolph the camera angle changes in both those scenes. The times set are from the official Tsukuba Circuit time board not based off the in-car footage.

Taniguchi couldn't push it with those settings but the car still had considerable grip, I wish I could afford AD08's

86 was in "unchanged D1GP spec", I'm guessing that goes for the suspension setup as well.

The subtitle are off? Can you please inform us of what information is incorrect baring in mind that Japanese is never a 100% direct translation to English.

Cool video, but the jump cuts at 3:45 and 4:34 completely invalidate both onscreen times.

So can we expect to see this tire for sale here in the US? Is it a revision to the AD08 in itself or was it changed to a compound that is softer than 140 treadwear? I can't find anything about the AD08-R online.

Nice sequential gearbox...but how to reverse?
@DarkCloud98311 жыл бұрын
let me get this: with a gt86 520cv and sequential gearbox gives only 2 seconds to a S2000 with 300hp?

They use 'rei' (zero) if talking about measurements. Most other cases they use 'zero'.
