Love the summer hat! I just finished it today so my daughter can wear it when we go visit her grandparents in Alabama. I use deep turquoise and deep purple as the trim also light pink layered flowers and leaves as embellishments. It is so darling on her! Thank you for the tutorial!!!

Yolanda I made a hat the other day and I could have sworn it was your pattern. I can not find it anywheres. It was like a big kinda sleeve and at the top you pulled a chain through it. I also used 2 strands of yarn, I really just need the sizes if you have them. Thank you so much.

I have started doing my slip knot in the opposite way (by mistake at first!) so that the tail tightens up the slip knot instead of the working yarn. Then I do one more ch than the first stitch that I would normally do the chs for. For example; for this hat you are using DC's. I would chain 1 for the center ring and 3 more for the first DC, then work the other 9 DC's in the first ch. I found that this would tighten the center hole like the magic loop does. I don't do videos; could you demo?
