Spraying a small amount of water on the soles of your shoes will help with grip in future.

Unrelated question, how do you perform your deadlift working sets? Do you still move your feet between reps & reset every single time? I use a very widestance as well & have trouble maximizing my stance width while performing volume sets.
@Kanyonkhuu5 жыл бұрын
Move feet after every rep, that's the tradeoff

Hey Sean! I’ve been lifting for about a year and a half and I’m competing in my first meet in a couple months. I walk around at around 173. My current gym PRs are all higher than the state open records for 74kg. What would you do in my situation? Diet down to 74 or fill out 83?I’m 5’10 total is around 1520.

I suggest do not cut any weight, just go have fun with your first meet.

You ever get concerned about your hips shooting up in your squat? Genuine question, I'm sure you've weighed your options, & analyzed the risks and rewards of your form.
@alexhunt18075 жыл бұрын
That bench is a little rediculous, but good deadlift.
@jkjames50514 жыл бұрын

I have a tonne of issues with feet sliding on bench at comps. No issues in training whether it's on carpet or rubber matting, but as soon as I get into comp the floor may as well be ice. I think it's from talc getting into the carpet from previous sessions deadlifting.
