Really impressed by this meet! I really wish you could make a video going through your technique in your lifts, as all of them are incredibly impressive! Grats on the total and especially that 3rd dl!

Unrelated question, how do you perform your deadlift working sets? Do you still move your feet between reps & reset every single time? I use a very widestance as well & have trouble maximizing my stance width while performing volume sets.

Hey Sean! I’ve been lifting for about a year and a half and I’m competing in my first meet in a couple months. I walk around at around 173. My current gym PRs are all higher than the state open records for 74kg. What would you do in my situation? Diet down to 74 or fill out 83?I’m 5’10 total is around 1520.

I have a tonne of issues with feet sliding on bench at comps. No issues in training whether it's on carpet or rubber matting, but as soon as I get into comp the floor may as well be ice. I think it's from talc getting into the carpet from previous sessions deadlifting.

Maybe try not dehydrating yourself hours before you compete. Eating trash right after you weigh in, that stuff is making it so much harder for you.
