Im 99.9% metalhead, but there is something about their music that makes me enjoy it af. Its just kinda unique in some way I cant explain, its not just another catchy poprock song xD

it is, and yet it isn't, right? Their energy as a band, makes the difference, I think. I'm like you... hard rock/metal guy... her clean, hard, well intoned vocals are a cut above. She goes hard after all the notes you hope she might, and lays off subtly at other times... dynamic range... bands with dynamic range always set themselves apart. Yonaka has it!

agreed there are so many underrated bands out there... take for instance RLK Red Light King.. One of the best bands i've ever heard in my life but alot of people don't even know who they are and they have been around a long time. RLK has had there music plugged quite a few times in movies and such but it takes awhile. Yonaka is now getting picking up alot more fans because there songs are being used in very popular tv shows like the flash and the winx saga.

I saw these guys supporting Demob Happy a year or two ago in a tiny bar in Glasgow. There must have been about 10 people in the room. Everyone was blown away, we didn't expect to get one of the best live acts we'd ever seen. Listening to their recorded stuff doesn't do them justice, go see them!

Solid band! They're evolving really good. Their sound and overall production increased dramatically in the last year... Probably have new producer or something I don't know but whatever it is - definitely shows. In 2017 on Reading Festival they were playing the Festival Republic stage (with no more than 30 people watching them) and they were playing some other songs that are nowhere to be found now... It's like they rebooted and it's great
