Yongnuo 35mm f/2 | Photo video test

Bought one years ago for my EOS 77D to give me a ~50mm lens equivalent. It's not a sharp lens by any means but for the price I paid for it ($88 USD), I can't really complain about its image quality. What's more disturbing is the cheap build quality, which is not really unexpected for the price. Still, it feels like it might break apart at any moment!

A lot of chromatic aberration, but overall a good lens for the price

On my Sigma 30mm f/1.4 the chromatic aberrations are much worse)

They can be deleted though Lightroom 👌🏻

Got one last November put it on my ageing D3 its not come off yet after 500 test shots no problems at all, a brand new lens for £99 its a steal........be careful though its not water proof!

On DSLR cameras it will only shoot macro and will not focus at infinity

It is sharp only in the center. I wouldn't recommend it for important shooting.
