Rainy days are here, and so is the brownout season. Fortunately, we are going to be testing and reviewing the Yoobao EN1 42000mAh power station to help aleviate fears of losing precious productive hours brought about by brownouts.

Please note that the fan will destroy the power bank. Remember that motors need pure sine wave to operate. This powerbank uses modified sine wave.

Hello! When plugging-in power-intensive electronics - it usually makes noises due to the fan activating to cool the power station. Depending on the airline, certain power banks / stations are prohibited. You should contact them to be sure or to get permission.

Hello! We don't really lets the battery turn to 0 before we charge. We charge it up as soon as possible after it has been used. In this way it will always be ready for use:) You might also want to charge the power bank when not used for period: Lithium ion and lithium polymer rechargeable batteries do not like being left in a fully discharged state for long periods. There are solar panels that has a USB-C PD port. You can use those solar panels to charge it. I reviewed and tested the flashfish 100w solar panel with a USB-C PD and it can charge this power station.

Hello sir, na-try mo na bang ginamit as UPS? Tinesting ko kasi na naka-saksak sa AC yung Powerstation then yung modem/router ko naman nakasaksak sa Powerstation… gumana naman po. As per specs sheet, hindi po kasi nakalagay kung safe ba na naka-babad sa AC plug. Ok lang kaya

Hello! Naku hindi po eto pwedeng gamitin as UPS. Because UPS or uninterruptible power supply or uninterruptible power source - means that there would not be any interruption in the supply of power from your power source towards your machinery (or computer). Power stations cannot automatically switch between the wall outlet and itself. Kapag UPS po kasi, kapag nawalan ng kuryente, walang down time - hindi mamamatay yung PC and/or monitor mo.

Hello, since 150w po ang capacity nya, you may be able to charge your laptop na 45-65w twice or thrice. For every 50W po more or less you can use it for about 2-3 hours. Hope this helps!

Hi! My Hp Elitebook G3 has 65w charger, used yoobao and it only lasted for 2.5 hours. If you’re laptop has a type C charger, you can use it then plugged it to the type C also in yoobao powerbank. If what you mean po is USB (from laptop) then type C (papunta sa powerbank), i tried it that way per observation, china-charge po nya yung powerbank na galing sa laptop. So i think di po sya pwede.

Hi! Yes, I think it's normal (and better for the power station) because the fans turning on - means heat is being pushed away from the internals of the battery. We had the same experience with the EN1 and the EN300. :)

yes, in some scenario - 1. YES - if you are using a portable solar panel that comes with USB-C outlet. 2. YES - if you have a "full and complete" solar setup (complete with SCC, Inverter, etc) , since its like you are charging "grid-like". 3. YES - if your solar panels are connected to a Solar charge controller that comes with USB-C out put.
