its 3am here the room is dark and the only light is my phone. while listening to this once again after many years i have realized that i was really indeed happy as child. playing this game at night while everyones sleeping, after school excited to go home just to play and on weekdays very excited to wake up to play again. as i grew older a lot has change since then. met a lot of people beginning to explore life that i have actually forgot all about this game and now im 24 and just randomly thought about it and searched for it in youtube. i felt sad, really sad because growing older is difficult you will start to think differently, and starting to have a lot of responsibilities and stuffs. the simple life of my childhood is the happiness that i was looking for, now im not very happy anymore, not excited in life as i used to be but one thing that excites me a bit is when i go to bed and just hope i get to re live my childhood in my dreams.

Hmm, I'm 44 now, my kids are growing, I have a full-time management position but there is nothing better than to play KH a few hours before going to bed. It takes my mind of things and I truly enjoy myself. Yes, adulthood comes with responsibilities but you will come to a point where you breathe again

I know how you feel! I was happier as a kid to no worries it has to do with the deep trance you are in as a child I think!! because when I am really happy and actually enjoy things again I feel similar to how I use to feel!! when you grow up you snap out of that trance like swallowing the red pill in the Matrix!!! I endured horrible depressions and anxieties the more I aged as an adult! I wish I could get my mind back into that Child Trance mode but still have the tools as an adult to get stuff done. IF ONLY!!!!!

Kingdom Hearts, I love the name, the characters, and, yeah, even the plot. Sora, Riku, and everyone else. They've taught me so much, this game has been my escape. It fills me with hope, and even though, I'm eighteen, and dealing with alot of stuff. This work of art is what gives me light, I've used many lines from this game to help my friends and tell them they are okay, and Kingdom Hearts, to me, is my favorite thing in the world. I've played the series for twelve years and I still go to certain worlds to stand in and listen to the music or go face a nobody and dodge and block only to listen to the music, and that music has helped me through depressing times as well as angry times or panicked times etc. Some of my favorite songs are the three main openings by utada hikori, and every one of these songs hit with some strong nostalgia. Great job. Can't wait to see what you do with the kh3 music once that game comes out.

I found this playlist four years ago when I entered college and now I can call myself a college graduate. Now that it's December 31st, I'm sitting here and recalling all that's happened during my time in college. I had many ups and downs but the lows weren't so bad thanks to this collection of songs. I played this game as a child/teenager. Now that I’ve grown; finished college and got a job... all I reminisce about are the simpler times. If you are reading this don’t do what I did and get a monotonous accounting job and get a mortgage and car loan to whim the next 5-30 years making payments to someone you have never met. My brother of 22 years died doing what he loved. I admire every second of his life as if my own but I do not cherish it as such... if you are reading this .. please ... to whomever higher level god or person you preach to... know that life isn’t as valuable as the materiality you want to create to feel a little more visibly successful. When you die you die and nothing else matters. If you only care about what you do in the life you live then the life you live is not what you should be looking forward to.

Okay, so I have been listening to this mix on repeat ever since I first started studying for finals and without fail, every time I hear the transition between Riku's Theme from KH2 and Riku's Theme from KH2.5 I always get chills. It's the exact same song and tune... but it's so different from the first. It's so subtle, yet so effective. Yoko... you instrumental genius. [BTW: The transition I'm talking about is at about 20:30 - it flows so well and I can just go on and on and on... wow. Just wow.]

Kingdom Hearts is a series that very close to me. As a kid I was heavily bullied and it was my escape. I lost someone who was close to me who also loved the games. This series is the only series where I have beaten every game on all difficulties and that gives me a great sense of pride. Kingdom Hearts will always have a place on my Playstation. Our community is also a place I can talk about thing I want to happen in the future of the series, the speculation we all had waiting for the release of kh3, it was unlike anything I had seen before and it was incredible.

Okay so like, I’m a new person to the kh franchise and oh my god I fell in love with it as soon as I played it. I did play Kh1 a long time ago, when I was only a child but now playing all the games leading up to my prized possession, that being KH3, I have to say this franchise is a work of art. I don’t know if anyone has touched upon this before, but every game is crucial to the story, and it’s absolutely fantastic. The characters are all lovable, the story somewhat has a plot that’s long and doesn’t make much sense but the way it makes yo7 feel so many emotions is truly the best part of the series. I have never cried so much just from cutscenes or music in a game but KH is a treasure I’d never want to abandon.

Destiny Union is such a beautiful and entrancing song. It tells the story of this trio in the song with their own parts: Terra, Ven, and Aqua in the order of the song. Aqua's piece at the end just really describes all this solitude and despair. This one is definitely my favorite.

Im so hyped for KH3 i listen to this everyday all day at work, its so relexing but i cant ignore the final ost, so much memories, when i ended this game, its funny how almost everyone that end this game, stayed for the Reprise dearly beloved and fall in love its a journey you cant forget...

Never forget going to Port Royal and entering combat just to hear the music, or sitting there in Traverse Town just to hear the song, or losing to Roxas over and over again just to hear his theme played in the melancholic piano, or fighting Riku to his epic theme. Just a superb series. There’s nothing out there like Kingdom Hearts

@@uhok.113 the first one always made me feel better. Everytime I hear it I just sit alone in my room and for some reason I get all these flashbacks of my friends and I as kids playing outside in the open field and just being kids. Shit makes me sad, but happy at the same time. I wish I could relive those moments.
