He waited so long for her to express her withheld feelings back which she was only able to do when intoxicated. After so long I would’ve just accepted that we would never be more than friends. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Mostly because I’ve expressed mine in a similar fashion but he didn’t feel the same and our friendship did become lost as a result. 🥺 It’s tricky having feelings for a friend and being so afraid to cross the line and risk the friendship that already is there. And friends with benefits doesn’t work out for me. Someone else always seems to be chosen over me for an actual relationship which I can’t even actually complain about considering the nature of how friends with benefits works. I knew what it was when it started and only had myself to blame for accepting it and emotionally allowing myself to think that it was more.
