Cats are mostly not as readily affectionate as dogs. It could take some time to gain their trust, so we feel special if they chose us. They long for personal space but also crave attention from people they love. Yoongi comes off as cold or indifferent if you don't know him well enough but is actually such a caring person. Members feel happy/special when they are complimented by him because they don't get that often. He seems to enjoy solitude but would also love it if members check on him or invite him to go out. So, my point is HE IS A CAT and I want to adopt him. 😸

Where I'm from, in informal French, a cat is called a Mine (pronounced Min as in Min Yoongi) or a Mi-mine it's the equivalent of Kitty or Kitty cat so MIn Yoongi has is own cat-egory. In the French dictionary you will find the words Minou (small cat) Minet (small cat) Minette (small female cat). it's actually crazy that his family name is somehow related to cats and that he himself is so cat-like and well-known for it. I'm a cat lover and of course MIN Yoongi is my bias. 🐈

Yoongi has yet to confirm he has a cat but because of that photo, the possibility is quite high...btw, the way you actually caught the meowing in the background during Jin's birthday live was amazing. that same section was also caught by a good few army and it started a discussion on whether yoongi and his cat was actually at Jin's house at that time or another theory was Jin also got a cat for himself💜

8:54 the thing about jk’s “cat” is that in korea ‘do you wanna come eat ramen?’ (or anything along those lines) is their version of ‘netflix and chill’ and jungkook mentioned on his ig story ‘do you wanna come see my cat?’ (anything along those lines) which is like the “upgraded” version of the ramen one lol

If you see some Korean content (but also from other regions), they tend to compare idols/actors energy to that of an animal. So we have dog-like people, cat-like people, mouse-like people, lion-like people, bear-like people, fox-like people... So the animals you see associated with the members are just that. Sometimes it can evolve or change, as people change. Hobi used to be a unicorn, now he's a squirrel :) Jin is a hamster and so on.
