Fun fact she is one of the most respected hip hop female artists in South Korea and her husband is one of the first generation to bring hip hop into korea. They both are like Jayz and Beyonce status there. Queen and King of hip hop.

Tasha, Queen T, Yoon Mirae. Godmother of Korean Hip Hop with her husband Tiger JK known as the godfather. She is also very well known for her OSTs. Sometimes called the Queen of OSTs. Her and her husband are apart of the trio MFBTY with Bizzy. BiBi is apart of their label Feel Good Music. I will highly recommend any MFBTY, Drunken Tiger or just her solo tracks. Such an amazing artist.

Insooni, Yoon Mirae, and Lee Michelle are all great Black-Korean female singers who deserve more attention internationally. Strongly recommend listening to more from all them when you get the chance. Insooni is a legend- her songs "Goose's Dream" and "Father" are a must listen. Yoon Mirae makes music with her husband Tiger JK, all their shit is dope, and they are the CEOs of BiBi's company. Lee Michelle doesn't get a lot of attention, but she is amazing rapper and singer- I recommend "Queenz" or "Without You".

Just a fun fact: Tasha & her hubby Tiger are very great friends with BTS but mostly RM. Tasha (Natasha) is her American given name & Yoon Mi-Rae is her Korean name. She was born in TX. She is one of the biggest name in South Korea when it comes to female rappers & k-drama ost. She can sing & rap. Beautiful soul in & out. Both her & hubby & their other team member are humble but are the ultimate team when it comes to the rap game.

I hope you react to more of her songs (and yes, Tasha is her American name), she's also in a group with her husband called MFBTY. (FYI, they did a song with RM called BuckuBucku 🙂) There was another black/korean singer named Lee Michelle that has a song called Without You, about bullying in Korea and growing up without her father who left her, also a very powerful song. Hope you guys will react to it 🙏

This hit home. I remember when I was in high school and my friends and I used to get picked on BIG TIME for listening to kpop. Everyone else was like, you listen to music that's not even English? It's a part of my childhood that I remember distinctly because I stopped sharing the things I liked with other people. Nowadays, I'm grateful that things have changed. At least the younger generation won't feel so alienated. Thanks for reacting to a song that made a huge impact on my childhood!

Thank you for reacting to Tasha's Black Happiness. I know kpop is big these days but these OG classic tracks needs some love too. Yoon MiRae (aka T, aka Tasha) is the queen of K Hip Hop and she is under appreciated. She had several opportunities to debut in the US under LA Reid and well as more recently, Far East Movement whom both really wanted her to cross over but she on several occasions put her career second to making sure her husband is cared for and that her husband's career (Tiger JK also known as the KING of OG K Hip Hop) is more spotlighted. Also her having a son now makes it hard for her to uproot her family to further her ambitions. I wish she does go back to her roots one day because her Gemini Album is a classic. Her single with Tashani was also fire. Her recent Gemini 2 album was ok but still has too much Tiger JK influence.

Alfredo&LC ! THANK YOU SO MUCH for mentioning the crimes on asian americans /Asians as whole. I was actually retaliated and fired from my last time when covid first came out. it was horrible. and when i talked to one of the managers he jumped like 4 feet away from me and was almost running away as he was backing up. A couple months after I started to notice everyone giving my partner and I judgemental looks at the dog park we've gone to for the past 2 years. My dog not only gets the weird energies and unwelcomed feeling from all the owners but i started noticing her not even wanting to play with other dogs anymore bc of how covid and how everything happened here in Minnesota has forever impacted peoples judgement on asians. - specifically hmong americans-Since officer Thao in the George Floyd case was hmong - the majority of Hmong people actually reside here in MN as well). My fear is that the next time I go to walmart or go get gas that something could happen to me because of my skin and not by a white person or by a cop, but by anybody almost.... that's my truth and I'm sorry if i offend anyone. With all of this it's created social phobia for me and it's deepening my depression. One thing that helps & has become my daily routine is checking in on you guys esp when it's one of my favorite artists. Thank you for being here and present, and most of all aware. - p.s. OMFGGG IM SO HAPPY YOU DID THISSSS!!! Yoonmirae is the first black korean female that EVER introduced female k-rap and made HISTORYYYYYYY. she's actually Jessi's mentor. you will hear a lot of yoonmirae's style in jessi's raps too. I love them both. she actually sought out and encouraged jessi to audition to the competition show she was working on and hooked her up i love them sososo much. This was the song that actually lead me to kpop entirely.

Self- Awareness: It's interesting that everywhere you go and in everything you do, people constantly look for reasons to criticize others, always want to know why, and refuse to accept someone for who they are. It really does show how prejudiced our world is. Either it's intentional or unintentional bias and how it can skew the truth to serve an agenda. There is no such thing as an unbiased person. We all hold our own biases, Beliefs that we think are true, and Stereotypes we believe can’t be undone, but you're mistaken. Identifying your bias and re-educating your mindset by asking yourself why, how, and when those biases came to be. The world we live in is very divided due to bias. And to see where you stand regarding this topic, we can evolve as a person and as members of this society. Personally, bias was something that I wanted to push and keep out of sight because I did not wish to be confronted or corrected. But it meant I lacked comprehension or was not open to self educate my biases. I know I can’t entirely eradicate my mindset of bias, I hope to call out my biases maybe even till the day I die because every day I find myself pointing out different biases that I have that I didn't even acknowledge before. Just know we are all humans, and we make mistakes, but it is important to be/ practice being self-aware.

Yoon Mi-rae is the Godmother of R&B Hip Hop Soul in Korea. Her story is equally inspiring. If there ever was a rags-to-riches story in Korea. Yoon would be that story. Girl had so many obstacles yet persevered. Being married to her husband "Tigher JK" for 7 years in secret. Fighting through his debilitating illness with Transverse Myelitis." Which is an incurable disease that can lead to paralysis and other life-threatening effects. Being told by her father growing up to hide her mixed heritage. Yet managing to fight through it all and becoming a living Legend. Seriously this would make such a good movie. :b

You guys should be running the country! It's sad to see how much more racism has occurred all over the world in one year. Music is universal and yes, we are all one. Why is this so hard for people to get? We can only move forward by changing this sickening disesase of racism. My girls experienced similar stuff to Yoonmirae (being half Korean in a small town). The kids that picked on my girls were also kids of colour/south east Asians, Jamaicans. I think they were projecting their hurt onto my girls. We all deserve to be happy and peaceful, despite where they are born or what they look like.

I love when I see more people who speak up about thinks like mental health, discrimination, qnd how people wanted them to change themselves to fit in, how they were treated for being mixed or being different. There are a couple of south korean (Black American and even like Kenyan, Nigerian or some other type of black) idols. When it comes to kpop idols they don't always make it but we have actors in American who are blasian and Makin it big like Tyson Beckford, Amerie, Sonja sohn amd so on , Naomi Campbell, neyo and others. If you notice in the music video Natasha's actually showing her growing up and it is her dad and her it's her I guess her her mom teach her dad korean because in Korea there are a lot of people where they'll have a kid that is mixed but they might not be able to speak eat the other person's language so you can have a black person that's married to a South Korean person but they might not be able to speak korean and their child is living in Korea she's from Texas but still. Natasha Alex Reid aka Yoon Mi Rae or Tasha Reid There is this korean show where dads spend hours taking care of their kids and one of the dads is a soccer player but his wife is white and mixed so their kids speak French, German, Korean, English, Russian, Portuguese and so on because his wife is French,German and Brazilian but the husband can only speak Korean and his daughter talks to his team mates in their languages but he can't understand it and it's sad to think of how many parents or families might not speak the lanagaueb. For example I have puerto rican Dominican and Mexican friends and a lot of them did not speak Spanish they only spoke English but their parents spoke Korean in English and their grandparents or sometimes 1 of their parents would only speak Spanish Spanish and when people knew that they were Spanish and it's like oh can you understand or translate and they're like I don't speak any Spanish and alike what do you mean aren't you… you don't speak in Spanish and you're like no my family never taught me Spanish I only speak English and that sucks because like there's always gonna be a part Of people that miss out because they can't speak the language of everybody else in their family. I mean my moms side is puerto rican from my grandma and we speak Spanish occasionally and even French (my grandpa is teaching me , he learned when he was in the military.) But yeah we don't really speak or know that much and it's not east learning other languages. I'm taking lessons of duolingo for Spanish, korean and chinese and French or Italian I can't remember

I always say respect a culture appreciate and give thanks to those who came before you and just show love . It's okay to copy people but if you want to be them it's a problem, it's okay to admire people as long as it's not over board. People get so upset when they find out that some people might have something that's similar and I'm like you realize if something is popular it makes sense that a lot of people are gonna have it if it's not that well known in several people have it and OK but like a lot of times they'll see you'll hear AK pop song and like I know for a fact that I remember hearing this song it just sounds like it's in a different language if I notice a psalm there are plenty people who copy songs from K pop in a different language in Latin said that it was theirs or even K pop idols who have said that an American artist sold their dance with like JIP said that he had a dance move and we stole it and I'm like literally that is MC hammer that is from the eighties in the nineties what are you talking about.

It is sad nowadays in the name of diversity people are putting people back in their race boxes and are told to stay there and did not realized what they are doing is basically segregation and racism and they feel good about themselves because they feel they have done social justice. And yet when I watched youtubes unless the person is so obvious of which race they are most people are really unidentifiable until they speak and sometimes that even surprised you. Sometimes I feel to eliminates race is to marry everyone (marriage because its a social contract that ties a person, their wealth and family ties to the other person and vice versa.) to others of not their race so that it'll becomes so mixed up that nobody can claim racial purity. PP.S. Please react to Tiger JK.
