Someone else probably said this already, but originally Whistle didn’t have a choreo it was actually a surprise to Insomnias on the Midnight Circus concert and we were definitely surprised. The girls stated that they would ONLY perform that choreo one time but then they surprised us again when they performed it again at the Broken Halloween concert😂 at this point they should just make a special clip with the choreo🤣

Whistle dominantly ranked #1 or #2 bside (or even the whole EP) in Summer Holiday between Somnias. so it definitely is popular. even probably #1 in the whole EDM track

dreamcatcher \:D/ pretty much all of their choreo performances use a backing track, some louder than others. the only performances where there are no backing track are the non-choreo ones using a live band where they use hand held mics. online performances such as the midnight circus, clips without the band are usually pre-recorded; they are still singing live, but there might have been several takes and the audio would have gone into post production. also there were serious audio sync issues for the midnight circus online concert that they had to re-upload it again as a vod for anyone who bought the stream. even then it wasn't perfect.

The audio and video are not well synchronized in that Midnight Circus live. I think that was a common problem among all Dreamcatcher's online concerts, and one of the many occasions where MyMusicTaste (who organizes their concerts) have proven they are experts at making Insomnias rage (with reason). And if it's the VOD version posted afterwards, then it also has editing in the sound, but the original stream was live

Thanks for another fun video. "Whistle" is one of my favorite DC b-sides, definitely top 10 ^_^ I honestly remember being stunned when I heard this for the first time; I had it on repeat for days afterwards. It's one of my most-played songs of theirs. And the choreography was really cool, too. I'm not usually big on choreographies that are really sexy, but this one is so detailed that there's a lot to pay attention to I _do_ enjoy. I'm no expert, but I agree with what you said first, that the Midnight Circus video (white outfits) wasn't live. Maybe there was an issue with the original recording, but the lipsync issue makes it look like they recorded and then dubbed the video over for some reason. Which sucks, since we know they can sing and like hearing it, but...not exactly anything to do about it now. The videos where they're in the red "Vision" outfits, I think we heard them through their mics in the first video you watched, but not in the second version because it sounded like the recording was so muffled that their live vocals were lost. JiU and Yoohyeon killed this chorus. I love that DC is a group that handles their line distributions with the interest of the song ~vibes~ in mind rather than being held back by roles. I agree with you on choreo with chairs (even if many Somnias, me included would love to be the chairs here or even the floor 😅). Even if I'm a big fan of the girls I think the choreo doesn't fit that well with the song with the chairs involved. It gives some nice different vibes and some different changes with the levels though. I also think they didn't have that much time to work on the choreo. But I think you should check BTS "Dyonisus" live for a great use of props (but they had lots of dancers to help). Thanks as usual for the great long video (I don't often comment but watched all your DC/BTS videos/lives).

This is Siyeon's newest Vlog. kzbin.info/www/bejne/fXfPlXqHjdmkY9U It may just raise her to bias one because her essential charm has never been so clear. The MyMusicTaste Livestream concert had serious audio problems that were so bad that they had to stream the whole concert again days later after remastering the whole thing. This clip looks like it was taken from the original livestream so the sync is off. They where using a new process called augmented reality which combines live performance with on the fly computer generated graphics. It was very difficult to do and caused a lot of problems with audio sync. In the clip all the graphics you see were done by computers as the girls danced. The girls themselves saw nothing.
