Would it be that because I am new to this that I find the Wuji posture a little challenging? I find my calves start shaking because of the tension that's on them during this hold. Everywhere else in my body is relaxed and I tried to centre all my attention on the moves and energy but a part of me still feels the shaking in my legs. Is this something that will go away naturally as I improve or is there something I'm doing wrong? By the way, I have just recently discovered this channel as I've been wanting to get into Yoga, Qigong, and Tai Chi for better health. This channel has been a great start and I will continue to follow further videos.

Hi! Great question. The qi in our legs is linked to our lower dantian, our survival energy, and for a man especially, sexual energy. So there are a number of reasons why this can be challenging. Shaking is a normal reaction for the beginning stage of wuji, horse stance and tree posture. If you are tired or dehydrated the muscles can shake too. But as all the masters teach, with time wuji posture builds strength and the shaking reaction will disappear as you build up internal power. Stick with it! You might start off your training posture by not bending the knees too much and focus more on relaxation and sinking/dissolving tension into the earth. Hope this help:)))

Hi, Marisa, I love your videos. I don't live near a park so it's difficult to do this practice standing on the grass . I wonder if I can do it on the balcony of my flat. . Best regards form Rio de Janeiro in Brazil.

Hi Claudette, Thank you! Yes you can do it on the balcony. You can send your mind down into the ground when we gather earth qi. Enjoy

Hi, I'm new to Qigong, question, I noticed that for this practice you are taking in the sunlight/energy and grounding. What if you can't go outdoors some days? Do we get the same benefit by practicing indoors?
@yoqi5 жыл бұрын
Hi! Great question. Yes, this qigong works with the sun and it's always good to practice outdoors, but you can still ground indoors and in a high level apartment. The magnetic field of Mother Earth is very large and our body has it's own grounding polarity. The key is to use the mental intention-focus. Grounding can simply be bringing your mind to your lower abdomen and feet- getting out of the head and into the body. Hope that helps!

If you prefer I do not post your KZbin videos, please let me know as soon as you can, before I do so.

Hi, Thank you for asking. It depends where you are posting them and why you are posting them? Tell me about you!
@wwrafting4 жыл бұрын
@@yoqi Thank you for responding. I've been doing Chi Gong for 25 years after instruction for a couple of years, for a precursor to Tai Chi, however after looking for more advanced moves and locating your website, I bought two videos (for stomach and another for liver) and would simply like to share your free KZbin videos so people will know the immense benefits of Qi Gong, posted on Facebook. I am also an Experiencer. You could check my FB page first. (Could disclose my name by email. If you prefer not I understand 100%. Thank you for your instruction! Another point: I looked for your videos because my dog's practitioner told me that the right food trumps herbs, but Qi Gong trumps the right food.
