Some key points to consider: - YoRHa originally was a sci-fi themed idol group started by Yoko in 2011 cuz he "wanted to do something new" - he eventually made a full stage play in 2014 to expand on the idol group's "lore" - at this time, YoRHa HAD NO EXPLICIT RELATION to DOD/NieR - Automata began development _after_ YoRHa ver 1.0 stage play debuted in 2014 - in fact, when Automata was announced, it was initially thought the game was merely _inspired_ by the YoRHa multimedia project. - Now Yoko has a new stage called _Bakuken_ which bears some interesting points: --- Bakuken is set in feudal Japan (finally explains the Japanese swords in Automata) --- it is about historical figures making "pacts" (sound familiar?) with demons to gain super powers. --- Some demons summoned in this play come straight out of the pseudo-Christian Lesser Key of Solomon (where alot of DOD1 characters get their namesakes from). --- The play ends with a cliffhanger where the characters teleport to modern day Japan... --- The play makes extensive use of newly arranged SINoALICE, Replicant, and Automata music tl;dr, your favorite waifu game was born from a literal idol group that had a stage play, and Yoko will probably do it again

So, how are the swords such as Virtuous Contract and Cruel Oath connected to Bakuken?

I can see A4 as an idol

Hm. I saw in one of the interviews (can't find it now) that besides A2 being naked and her "clothes" are just her ripped body, he also wanted the final scene in Drakengard 3 to be idol related. So he wasn't trolling after all.

Interesting. Queen-beast, the boss of ending E is supposed to be originally based on J-pop idol. Yoko Taro revealed in an interview with Game Informer that his original proposal for Ending E was for Caim and Angelus to defeat a giant version of real-life J-pop idol Ayumi Hamasaki in a singing competition. Quite understandably, this proposal was rejected immediately. This speaks about Drakengard 1. Learned something new, because the interview I saw was about Drakengard 3 in almost the same fashion.

so im hearing from some sources saying this Normandy YoRHa track was initially supposed to be Accord's theme? is that legit? because this version sounds so GOOD
@cristianoliver4447 Жыл бұрын
Yeah! It was meant to be Accord's boss theme. The lyrics speak about robotic stuff refering to the Accord line of androids. I guess they used it for the stageplay because it still fits androids.

@@M0rshu1I've found all the OST for Drakengard 3 in the game files, but I couldn't find this track. That's really weird. Maybe it's because I had downloaded the game and not have the disc version? Has anyone else found it? Maybe it's in the DLC game files?
