A crazy result for a game we dominated almost completely apart from a 10 minute period during the start of the 2nd half. We score goals for fun these days, but that was sloppy at times from a defence that’s normally so tight. Still, it’s just so entertaining watching City right now!

The ' So tight defence' has on many occasions this season looked anything but mate, I've commented on it a few times and if you look back through our matches on KZbin it's there to see. Going forward City are Brilliant a real joy to watch and probably the most exciting we've had in many year's. Let's hope our brilliant start to the season can be sustained to next May and we are crowned National League Champions.

Terrible editing - where was the build up to the free kick that Hunt scored? No idea what we got a penalty for. Lots of time to show random soft efforts by Hartlepool though. Thanks for that

​@thevanaramanl He's bang on though. The quality of editing this season has dropped off a cliff. It seems there's a desire to get the highlights out as soon as possible, rather than ensure they're of half decent quality.

As I've said on so many occasions already this season City going forward are exceptionally good some of the build up play finishing and goals are like in today's match top class and should be applauded .......BUT AGAIN defensively on a number of times under pressure our defence is looking unsure even lost and out of position we could have indeed should have conceded on more than one occasion but for poor Hartlepool finishing in front of goal and some top notch saves from City's 'Keeper' we managed to hold on but still conceded three soft goals..... BUT THE FULL TIME SCORE AND HISTORY BOOK'S WILL SHOW YORK CITY DEFEATED HARTLEPOOLS UNITED BY 5 GOALS TO 3 AND WE REMAIN ON TOP OF THE NATIONAL LEAGUE TABLE WELL DONE TO THE WHOLE SQUAD TODAY'S TEAM MANAGEMENT AND COACHING TEAM AS WELL AS OUR BRILLIANT LOYAL FANS.. ONWARDS AND UPWARDS 🙏❤️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️❤🙏
