"YOU'RE the one on Probation, not your father. I don't need your father's advice"/"Your company (American Autoglass) Can't relocate you from Charleston County even if they want to promote you to management"~Agent Rebecca Roland My Father: "Back off. You have SCDPPPS offices in every county there are branches of American Autoglass. He's doing really good processing auto-glass-replacement claims. They have drug-testing there at their own expense, not taxpayer expense. He stays clean, not only does he not get fired, he'll make middle management in Accounts Receivable inside of a year. Keep trying to send him to DAODAS when he's supposed to be at work, you're going to cost him that promotion. He's just going to take his bass guitar and bass amplifier and disappear into the wind."~Troy Evitt, Jr. (My Dad) Father: Knew me for 31 Years Rebecca Roland: Knew Me for 6 months. Textbook definition of "Hubris". No court, no condition of Probation, no PPP Agent, knows your offenders better than the people who brought them into the world and raised them. You ALWAYS need adult offenders' parents advice. By the time the idiot Agent in Berkelly County decided "No Paycheck Stub=No Job", I was with a pressure washing company setting appointments and doing homeowners' insurance claims. The boss's checkbook ledger kept the pay-stubs in a ring binder for his records. Boss provided my canceled paychecks ahead of a "Probation Violation" hearing. My father said, "Take those to your PPP Agent so she can cancel the hearing. You're just being NASTY wanting to wait 'till court. Don't make her present false allegation to the hearing officer just so you can show the hearing officer your paychecks." Judge; Dismisses claim of :"Violating probation"....and terminates 5-year Probation sentence after 1.5 years, 3.5 years EARLY. When YOU ignore the parents' advice, you just look arrogant. When the OFFENDER ignore parents' advice: Hearing Officer releases Offender from supervision. No court, no condition of Probation, no PPP Agent trumps listening to the Offender's parents. THEY know best, you're just the Johnny-come-lately.
