Great to watch for those who couldn't make it to York for this event. My father was a wireless operator with 346 Sqn/Groupe Guyenne, June 1944-Feb.1945. Cheers.

I was in the parade in the ATC and It was a privilege to parade with the French veterans

Thanks to all who participated, especially the 9 French veterans who had returned exactly 66 years to the day they had left Elvington to return to a liberated France. This was the culmination of 10 events which were part of the French in York Week and had taken three years to plan and organise from start to finish by the Yorkshire Air Museum.
