YORK RAILWAY MUSEUM | A walk amongst world famous trains.

Just a quick visit to York Railway Museum, as I only had a little amount of time in York. It was great to see all the old trains, such as the Flying Scotsman, Mallard, Duchess of Hamilton, and also others like the Intercity 125, Eurostar, and Shinkansen (Bullet train).
Join me as I wander around the museum and North shed.

A great visit. Apart from the famous Shinkansen. "The famous Shinkansen" just leaves me cold. The Eurostar, (was it the Class 373?), is much more interesting. I'm a great supporter of the Jacobs Bogie.

I'm not a big fan of the Shinkansen, I prefer the Duchess of Hamilton and Mallard when it comes to the trains in the museum. The Eurostar was the Class 373, hoping to travel on a Eurostar in the near future. Thanks for your comment.

@@smogontheline You're welcome. I am currently attempting to build a Class 373, with Jacobs Bogies, for my T-Gauge layout. They were the longest and fastest trains in Britain. And do look most impressive, galaxies ahead of the Class 800/801/802.
