Hey!!! Thank you for the comment this is so sweet❤️ So I didn’t live on res but a lot of first years stay at the res which is part of their college. In terms of course selection, I would say it really depends on your goals. If you want to get into med school then try to get some mark boosters in there. If you want to work after, then take some practical courses that will help you. It’s nice that you are starting in September because they have a subway on campus which is so convenient! I want to apply for med school but I'm not sure which courses can boost my mark or which course should I avoid to take cause of its difficulty that will affect my mark. Is there any extracurricular activities that will help me with that? Please let me know If you know anything about it!

Hey! So for courses just type the course code on Google and you will find other students reviews of the classes. Also, there are a few Facebook groups where people discuss the courses in detail and how difficult they are. In terms of extracurriculars for med school, I don’t know too much about that. I would assume that a lot of research, working in a hospital, papers etc would help you. Perhaps reach out to some pre-meds or med students for a better list aha.

Hey!! Congrats on your acceptance, that’s amazing. I know lots of ppl who did law and society which are now in law school, so it’s a good program. I would say try to get very involved on campus because the friends you make will help the transition from moving away much easier. Try to live on res first year because then you can meet other students as well. York is a commuter school but there are still so many international students. Good luck with everything!

Hey! Yes, York has lots of sports clubs for students. I believe they have competitive ones and also recreational ones as well.
